English fans are too stubborn to take in the fact that reaching the knock-outs is a great achievement, to them if you lose at any stage you had an awful tournament, you could lose in the final and they wouldn't be satisfied.
England did, however, play some really bad football at times but then at other times they played great, they just couldn't keep the great part going for long enough.
Anyway, now that I've seen that Greece can win the European Championships its clear underdogs can do it, bring on World Cup 2006, lets go Lithuania http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...s/bigthumb.gif. (I'll even accept Latvia http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...icons/wink.gif)
Actually the RWC really came too late for that team it is past the peak and it is gathering speed downhill. Lucky for England they won so it wasn't a total loss but next RWC no chance on present form.Quote:
