My stats teacher is named Mr. Indarawis and he is Egyptian. It took me three weeks to pronounce his name correctly. It may be a good thing there aren’t more Egyptians in the population to prevent us from butchering their names. The name is pronounced in-da-rous. Not exactly phonetic.
