Screw Civ 4! Pikes can't kill tanks! Can I PLZ have Alpha Centauri 2????

I believe the company that bought friaixis also bought the rights to make Alpha Centauri and Colonisation.

I think the spearmen beating tanks will be fixed.

I thought they were still independent ? They only sold the publishing rights to all their (future) games.

I've tried the AC demo and didn't have a clue what was going on ~:confused:

I checked Firaxis's webiste. They are independent. Take Two Interactive is the publisher and have the rights to Civ games.

I found that as well, it is the colours and interface. There are also too many options for units.

Personally, I can't wait for this one.

That said, SMAC2 would be even more mind-blowing...

The thing that made AC so beloved was the flexibility of the game. There were so many imaginative and different ways to play and win.
