Id like to point out that this poll is a bit unfair. Its the US verses the rest of the english speaking world. What eaxtcly constitutes GB. Is U2 a british band? How about the guess who or Men at work?

Glad I am not the onyl one who would want to be a part of a great war or event.

The 60ies, maybe in London. Eveything was possible then.

London was sweet, but not nearly as groovy as San Fransico, man. ~;)

I would love to see the world of the early and late Bronze Age. The construction of the pyramids, Ur, Troy, New Kingdom egypt... But i don`t think that would be a nive place to spend the rest of my life there. The time of the pax romana 30BC-200ad could be ok with enough money.
Honestly I am quiet happy with the 21st century.
