Re: Impressions of Londoners
Yes, Londoners showed calm and resolve, but what has impressed me has been the lack of hate and open revenge. The British seem determined to expose the perpetrators and fight back, but they exhibited no rage and I have not heard of any reprisal violence against Muslims. I'm sure there will be one or two hooligans, but the normal reaction showed a great deal of civilization.

The point I was making was that the Americans are more than capable of utilising the English language to it's most eloquent effect.
Again my point wasnt that you guys are more articulate with the language but its how you say it(the accent) Im speaking about. They can say the same exact words but it sounds better with most British accents. I guess it maybe I watched A Hard Days Night and Help too many times but I love those accents.
Re: Impressions of Londoners
Nothing new here, they were here during the blitz, they had ira's bombings and now they stand still while confronted to fanatics barbary.
Nothing new, they are the same ones and they will remain the same ones.
Nothing new, when assaulted they do not submit, they attach themselves to remain what they are.
Thanks to them to be here and to be what they are, today as every day their attitude gives a great visage to democracy against barbarism.
