stopped at Heathrow

I was carrying a Swiss Army knife through Frankfurt (Germany-Canada flight, the knife was a present from my Opa), my mom had another on her, when she suddenly has a brainwave, and decides to very suddenly whip out her knife to make sure it's ok with Security. Damn, that was hilarious...(As I'm sure you can imagine)

Pre-9/11, I had a Swiss Army knife in my briefcase flying from DC to Heathrow. It was one of the bigger ones, with about a 3.5" locking blade. No problems at all. On the return trip, security at Heathrow was less than amused...
