My first post at the Wolves forum way back when was an indignant one, defending a close friend and group leader who had been baselessly insulted (I wasn't asked to; it's just in my nature to do such things). After speaking my mind, I declared that I'd never post there again, and I haven't. I have friends among them, and just communicated with them in other ways. Indeed, may your resolve be firm; there are many other cool "places" to hang. Respect--whether your style is like mine or not ... .

What really bothers me is that we, Backroomers, are beginning to overstay our welcome at the .org if we pursue each other all across the .org and continue filling forum after forum with our personal attacks and ugly recriminations. The self-importance of some Backroom visitors never ceases to amaze me.

Don, was a good contributor to the backroom- it'll be a little more dull without him.

Gawain is one of the finest debaters and most iron willed members of these forums. Goodness knows he and I disagree on a great many issues, but to dismiss him as a nutcase is to fatally underestimate your "enemy".

Gawain, I apologise for that particular comment. I did not realise how insulting it would sound; it is just one of those problems with communication. If someone called me a nutcase, for example, I would not be offended; however, not wanting to antagonize anybody, I have removed it.

Well, I am a little bummed to see him go but since I have a pretty short attention spa… Hey, is that something shiny? Gotta go!

Oh well, Don was probably the nicest and the most objective right winger here. I'll sure miss reading his posts.

On the other hand, I'm fairly sure he'll come back sooner or later. At least that's what I hope.
