This explains a lot about the vampires. SFTS, you have a rival for the The Greatest Man Of All The Time title.Quote:

Do we have this here in Turkey? :inquisitive:
As a matter of fact, any brewed plant is referred to as "xxx tea" over here. But just "tea" always means good old cai (Mandarin)/tai (Cantonese).
.
Actually, the word tea/chai/te/tai is quite fashinating.
In England they call it tea in scandinavia te (pronounced somewhat similar) in Egypt they call it /don't know the spelling/ but it sounds like a mix of chai and tea, in Nepal they call it Chai and at Hokkien it is called te
The word is clearly the same almost everywhere, which I think if cool - not the tea tho, I hate ice tea
Really? It makes ME think of bicycle inner tubes and kippers that are several days past their best...Quote:
Lapsang Souchong is to Lipton's as espresso is to Folger's. Orders of magnitude stronger, with a lingering smokey taste.
It makes me think of end-of-the-day campfires after ascending one's favorite Himalyan mountain.
PG Tips for me. These fancy teas are all very well (I mean ones that actually are tea), but its good old English tea that made Britain great. That's a man's drink.

Mouza, they say it is Turkish apple tea, because they had never drunk it anywhere before..
It does exist though because I brought a box back from Turkey once, and it seemed to be everywhere there.
What's Martian tea like?
Extracted from Spam-iflorea, a Martian plant.. Has the same effect as when sitting on a cold concrete plane after eating a melon..

I love Tea
Coca tea is very nice. Good for altitude sickness.
Sadly a class A product though...
Disguise yourself as a tourist and you´ll get a tea-like fluid tasting of apples everywhere. Of course, by not disguising you probably get a raki everywhere...Quote:

But not in the morning, that's for Yorkshire tea, for Yorkshire folks, made with Yorkshire water.....~
I knew the Greek one was Uzo ~:confused:Quote:

Mrs ichi doesnt allow me to drink coffee around the house, only tea with honey in it. When she's not looking I go to Starbucks and get a latte with lots of sugar. She says coffee makes me too 'intense'
Apparently tea is good for a person, so is the honey.
ichi:bow:
Doesn't anyone here drink real coffee anymore?
I mean buying whole beans, grinding them manually with
a coffee grinder and brewing them slowly through a filter?
That's the stuff if you want a real strong coffee.
Btw, Espresso is the one with the lowest amount of caffeine, iirc.

Neither Rakı nor Uzo is made from grapes...
If I drank at all, it would be red wine and nothing else. :barrel:

I am sure the toiletpaper-lobby wouldn't mind ~D Always funny giving someone a REAL coffee, to see their faces turn from disbelieve into horror. It should shock and awe.Quote:
