I just found afew screen shots form the HW2 clone wars mod. Hmm...loks a little better then EAW.

Sharp... I might try it out... The Warlords mod is great fun at times (though it has a tendency to become a battleship slugfest), and this one looks a lot sharper and more balanced. You can actually see fighters, which are almost invisible because of their size in Warlords.Quote:

Looks very nice. Definitely one I'll try when I've got some time. The Clone Wars period is probably also more suited to a balanced game, since there are presumably rather less ships to try to cram into the game, unlike Warlords.
I've got some bad new; It's based off of the battle for middle earth engine. I have to wonder if fixed the memory leak yet. They said they did, but we've heard that before...
Oh. Thought for a minute that you meant the HW2 Clone Wars mod was based off of the BFME engine. :san_shocked:
But that's not very good sounding, since I heard the game (BFME) sucked. :san_undecided:
I patched to 1.1 and installed the HW2 clone wars mod. It looked great and i liked the build system, but it was like a slide show, despite the fact that
My Computer is recent. Maybe it's because I set it to 6 players and set the units to the maxium limit ~:idea:
i'll try to play again later with less insnae unit caps. Not much time at the moment....
I tried the mod out, and with only a few cap ships it slows somewhat. Zooming in from radar to normal view is a bit choppy.
I can only imagine the computer they used to take shots like that.
I don't like the very fast capital ships. Even though the mod author defends it with the fact that in space large ships go just as fast (though accelerately more slowly), in Star Wars cap ships are slow.
Still blinking impressive. I <3 the Republic cruiser with the R-name. (Forgot which one...)
