Re: The what you actually got for Chirstmas Thread
Good luck to your little one Kekvitirae. We had a surgery on St. Patty’s day a while back, definably doesn’t make you want to celebrate but it is all for the best.
What I got? Plenty of candy and stuff but most importantly MTW:VI!!!! What I wish I could have is an extra 10 hours!:san_cheesy:

A fine dinner with both sons present, and a kukri-sized bottle of a nice scots whiskey.
p.s. kekvitirae, sorry about the hospital thing. Best wishes to your son & you.

On the bright side COD2, some music (The Clash, Ramones, and another which I forgot), some good books, and a ticket to see The Producers in NYC.
All in all a pretty hectic Christmas.

A Christmas reunion with an estranged brother - the highlight of the Christmans Celbration in the household.
A remote contral car that goes over 60 MPH - suffered the first crash today when it hit a bump in the road that made it go flying - doing a 360 in the air. It was a beutiful wreck - now I have to go to the hobby shop and get some more parts. It was this little beauty.

Also got a satellite radio for my truck - to bad my AM/FM radio got stolen during thanksgiving.
And StarWars Battlefront II which I have been playing with my son.

Good to hear that, Redleg. You gave a clue as to the situation now and then in your posts, so I gather this must have been a very special occasion for all of you. Forget about the remote thingamy. Stuff crashes all the time, who cares. Human lives are much harder to fix.

A half-dozen books - mostly with some sort of historical theme - books on Roman legions, Greek wars, 1966 and all that, etc.
A few ties, cufflinks.
A platypus (the kind without legs)
i-Fusion speakers for my antiquated iPod.
A cold.
The promise of a shiny new laptop (probably a top of the range Dell XPS or something, if my instructions are followed).

Ah... it was of course 2006. Must correct. I just never get used that they release games with the title `06 when the year is actually `05.
