I used to eat Post's Cranberry Almond Crunch and Maple Pecan Crunch cereals in the morning until a few weeks ago. I liked the taste, and the flakes stayed crunchy for fairly long time. However, they were expensive, had small boxes, and were very caloric. I don't think they were very healthy, and eating a large bowl after some eggs made me feel like a walking beach ball an hour later.
I switched to Rice Chex.

Plain (or onion) bagel and lots of coffee. I like Honey Nut Cheerios and a few other cereals, but only go with them on weekends, when I'm not scrambling to get out the door on time.
hmmm, ive never heard of grits what are they?Quote:

Grits are a lot like cream of wheat. They're corn meal pounded to the point that they form a meal. They're then boiled to soften them up. Pour butter, salt & pepper over the top, and voila!
Oh, on cold days, love oatmeal.
What exactly is porridge?
its rolled oats mixed with water or milk and heated.

Aah. Well, then, count me in as a big porridge fan. ~:)
Grits are pablum for Texans. They just thought "grits" sounded tougher.Quote:

I'm not a huge breakfest person. I usually just have a bowl of cearal and juice. My stomach can't handle much that early.
