Ahhh... So you took it as if I had deducted your love for Austin Powers was because of Austin, Texas?
In that case... I must say that it takes a genius to figure out a genius.~:smoking:

I don't hate France at all. Dislike them a bit? Sure. Hate? Nah.
I love France, I'd just love it alot more if the French didn't live there ~D
And I voted Yes, I hate France.
I hate everything, including France.
I hate what my Prussian side of the family does*.
*see France/George W. Bush**
**Except the Liberal side of the Berlin side of the Prussian side.***
***OK, they still hate Bush.****
****Short Answer: I hate France.*****
*****Not because my family dislikes them. Not completely.
GAH!
Why?
Because Parisian French tend to be extremely unpleasant. If you speak English to them, they answer in French; speak French to them, and they speak English. Makes you want to knock some of their teeth loose.
But the French of Provence and Southern France in general are some of the most laid-back people in the world. Great food, too- and much more beautiful than Paris. ~;p
Overall, though, I would much rather live in Holland than anywhere else in Europe... although I don't speak a word of Dutch. I better start learning some Dutch.
One of the most psychologically scarring experiences of my life came when being forced to stay in EuroDisney, Paris for a corporate event. The unholy marriage of Saccharine Corporatism and Parisian Surliness(TM) was both wondrous to behold and deeply disturbing.
The low-paid, bad-tempered natives made the awful 'Have a nice day' sound like a mediaeval curse and I found myself checking for leprous boils every time I tried to order lunch.
I love Paris and Parisians, but whoever thought putting a Disneyland right next door was a great idea was smoking something very illegal.
~
Apart from French colony policy since ww2 I don't think I've got any reason to dislike France and/or French policy... In fact, a lot of great food comes from France :2thumbsup: , and they're quite good at soccer... ~:)
Them being good at football (Euro) is one of the reasons I hate them...:2thumbsup:
Nah, overall the parisian french are very friendly, if you speak french, or at least try it, it is just apreciated. When you go to the smaller towns people tend to be a bit ruder in my experience.Quote:
