The bible says he's supposed to be a great deceiver, but good at it. I doubt George Bush is him. Anyway, he's supposed to wear a blue turben. Whether that's a metaphor or not, I'm not sure.

A blue turban? :inquisitive: So the anti-Christ is coming back as a Sikh? :laugh4:
I really don't know about the blue turban. If nothing else, I would expect the antichrist to have good fashion sense.
Bush has been known to wear hats, baseball cap kind of things. That could be what it meant. Has he ever worn the muslim scarf-like things on his head when he meets with the Saudis that are quite close to the Bush family?
EDIT: also, the antichrist is said to come from the Isle of Tin. This means Britain.
NB: I don't believe in this, but it'd be pretty hilarious to prove Bush is the antichrist
EDIT AGAIN: Insane has a blue turban :inquisitive:

realy? where does it say that?
IIRC, the blue turban thing comes from Nostradamus, I hadn't heard about the Isle of Tin though.
Bush isn't the antichrist, but Cheney might be. :inquisitive:
i meant to ask where the blue turban comment came from but forgot to, isn't the problem with nostradamus that he was terribly vauge, to vauge to be of much use realy
Man, if Bush should turn out to be the antichrist, I'm seriously disappointed.
Judging by their fulminations, many people here have long believed that Tony Blair is the A-C.Quote:

We agree at last. :laugh4: Prescott does indeed have 7 bellies. (plus 2 homes and a car paid by me and you, and a few million others).Quote:

Oh, the blue turben was Nostredamus. I apoligize for that. Anyway, he is supposed to be from the Mid East though.

maybe l ron hubbard is the antichrist? (i thought the anti christ was meant to invent a religion?)
I wonder if the Anti-Christ knows he's the Anti-Christ? It wouldn't be too pleasant to wake up one day and realise "bugger, I'm the Instigator of the Apocalypse".
If you don't know you're him, it could even be one of us! I'm hoping for Navaros just for the irony.
Oh, I'm gonna have to say, he will definently know. That's so he knows when to start a seven year peace treaty with Israel right after the rapture. :book:

[QUOTE=Byzantine Mercenary]Where does it say that? It makes no mention to this in the revelations.Quote:

Also, this blue turban thing is probably what inspired Harry Potter book one, or?
Here's a brief synopsis of the antichrist in the New Testament. Main point of the article:
The words "Antichrist" and "Antichrists" appear only five times in the Bible - in two of the Apostle John's three letters in the New Testament, 1 John and 2 John:
- Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. (1John 2:22, ESV)
- Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. (1John 2:18, ESV)
- and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. (1John 4:3, ESV)
- Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist (2John 1:7, ESV.)
Interesting, thanks. That was part of what I was looking for. But I was also wondering about that part where there's a prophecy about antichrist appearing in human form and causing the apocalypse, followed by Christ coming back to earth to resuce his followers. Is that in revelations?
Oh for Pete's sake, the Revelation of John isn't that long -- just read the thing!
[edit]
Or at least thumb through the Cliff's Notes ...
He isn't really spoke of as the Antichrist as much as the Great Deceiver, in the bible. Maybe that will help your research.
