We need more MP players in the VI lobby and it's crazy that the versions aren't compatible.

I also suggest people send an email to PC Gamer UK as they seem to be big TW fans and I'm sure they could put some pressure on CA and Sega if enough people contact them. The sooner the wider public is made aware of this, the sooner it will be fixed I imagine. The address is cables@futurenet.co.uk

I'd like to install the patch too :furious3: but i'm stuck with MTW:VI gold
so: Signed.
I don't own the MTW:GE, but I'd like all versions of the game to be brought to the latest version, so that all MTW players can have a common platform.

Being that I might rebuy MTW soon, having lost it a long time ago and, now that it is summer, is going to buy a lot of games again, I must admit this predicament is of my immediate concern.
I'm not sure how much of an impact such an internet petition made, but consider it signed,

How's things Tony Furze! Good to see you here mate. :2thumbsup:Quote:

I agree, signed.
Just had a response from Mastertronic.
They say that the issue is related to having a previous install of medieval and not having removed it properly. This sounds some way plausible, as the computer I was having the issues with did have a Medieval install on there at some point in the past, however it had been removed properly (ie I had used the uninstall wizard).
I have tried manually removing some stray registry entries left behind after uninstall, but I still can't get it to install V2.01 on that computer straight from the disk.
Has anyone else who's had this issue also had an install of Medieval on the PC before? I'd like to know if Mastertronic are onto something with this theory.

It's ridiculous that this oversight made it all the way to release. I hope it's not a sign of things to come from CA/Sega.
Anthony:at least Mastertronic are putting their brains to the problem. Thanks for the reply from them. TF

Will link in the Frontroom.

I don't own the gold version, but there's no reason why people should have to suffer through cracks and so on to get their game patched.
