I love dark chocolate. Especially the heavy-duty high-percentage stuff. Yummy.

sugar is bad for you.
White.Or black with sweet of milk inside.
I dont know if dulce de leche it is right writed.
I'm encouraged to see that my fellow orgah's have the good taste to vote dark chocolate into the lead. The with or without nuts option was a little confusing since I like it equally either way and could not vote for both, but oh well. White chocolate doesn't count as chocolate AFAIC. My favorite readily-available here in America variety is Lindt 70% dark. I've tried cocoa levels up into the 90's, but I guess I'm not quite as hardcore as I'd like to think. 70% seems just about perfect to me.
That's kind of like saying that food is bad for you. Your body survives by burning sugars. The fats and proteins you eat must be broken down and converted into simple sugars before they can be used for energy. Sufficient quantity of less useful sugars can be unhealthy, but so can sufficient quantity of water.Quote:

I have to agree with Andres...
Coffee and choclate are a match made in heaven.
Dark. I'm a bitter person:
I like my chocolate bitter
I like my drinks bitter
I like my coffe bitter
I am bitter
My family is bitter
Hell only thing not bitter in my life is my wife, because: the only bitter thing I hate is bitter people.
The only real way to respond.:PQuote:
Did you say... chocolate?
Chocolate!
Dark chocolate will have my loyalty, but when I have the craving for chocolate confectionery, it 'hits the spot' more than dark chocolate will ever do.
That said, dark chocolate w/ orange is really good too.
Actually sugar does have some nutrients: It is made up purely of Carbohydrate and provides a large energy boost should you be needing one (thats why I always carry a small sachet in my pocket for me to have when I get tired). Any you can buy Chocolate/Alternatives without Sugar (I think :inquisitive:).Quote:

I'm a self-confessed chocoholic junkie. Why is there no "All" option? And this is my 333 post! Yeah!

Nutella, spread thinly on a thick slice of wholegrain bread.
You can get enough sugar without eating chocolate though.Quote:

Hazelnut.
I like milk chocolate or hazelnut chocolate, but with sultanas rather than nuts...
and for a real treat - large fresh strawberries in nutella...
If we throw some pics in here this could end up like the Babe Thread.
I bought this book for a girlfriend years ago. The photos are as sensuous and lascivious as anything Penthouse ever published. One cake, Death by Chocolate, which the book is named after (the one on the cover I think), they suggest taking two days to make. The simplest recipe, one for chocolate cookies, is still an elaborate affair in the culinary arts.
