Of course, they will have the same effect as a catapult!
Horses = Siege weapons? :dizzy2:Quote:

That leaves archery and siege engines. And except for one of these superhuman soldiers (Ali ibn Ali ibn Ali by name), the soldiers don't fire them from bows.
Therefore, except for Ali ibn Ali ibn Ali's steed (steed? Arrow?), they must be siege weapons, as they are thrown like rocks.
You are strange, why would it be like a seige weapon?
I think it'd be more like those funny little javelin guys but without javelins.
Because they would be short range, AP and they are thrown.
Cazaric, I fear you are being ridiculous.
You are attempting to define 'horses' as seige weapons? p'shaw! Your logic is flawed. You have stated the exception which proves the rule, in Ali ibn ali ibn Ali, and his bow-drawn-horse. However, the Ballistae, an acknowledged seige weapon, is also essentially a giant bow.
Faced with such hasty logic, how can you expect anyone to take what you are saying seriously? (A pity, because I would tend to agree - artillery!)
By the way, when's Cazaric-mod coming out?
Soooooo.... :stupido2:Quote:

It could be the non explosive equivalent of the Naphta throwers, though, the guy having a chance of being crushed by his own missile, and the missile being capable of killing several people at once. what do you guys think?
So the unit size should be 12, showing the difficulty to train the horse-thrower.
(and now I remember Xehh II asking a simple question about charging in M2TW, my, where are we!)
:laugh4:
Yes! You are more right than me, they would be more like non-explosive Naptha Throwers.Quote:

And Caerfanan, I'd advise you to cut down the number of soldiers in a horse-ranged unit to 5. They are VERY hard to find. Especially ones such as Ali ibn Ali ibn Ali (whose name, for those of you who don't know, means Ali son of Ali son of Ali).
Thank you for acknowledging my insanity. It is why I am still a junior member.
Mmmmm. :stupido2:Quote:

You're not insane. You're... creative? :laugh4:Quote:

And creative isn't the best word to describe me...insane sums it up better methinks.
Ok then, insane you are... Under oxygened brain due to horse launching training, Ali? :beam:Quote:

If you're going to go into horse throwing units, you have to count them as a short ranged catapult with area damage that lasts around 30 seconds 'til the horses stop kicking. It's quite a complex matter, actually, and you'd just have to make a few textures, add a unit, etcetera.
Say, a horse is around 15 hands on average, but if you really want to squish someone, use a Shire Horse, the biggest in the world. The biggest Shire horse even was 220cm tall and weighed 1.5 tonnes! :charge:
Ohhhhhhh..... Ahhhhhhhh!
The biggest of them all are the Shire horses specifically bred by Ali ibn Ali ibn Ali, a Syrian horse-archer. And I don't mean a mounted archer...

Yeah, I've heard of those huge beasts!!! My, 220cm, that's HUGE....Quote:

Ouch for the victims or ouch for the horses? I imagine that could be rather painful for both parties...
Ha Ha Ha...Flaming horses would be funny, not for the horses but still it would be funny, what about flaming camels?
Augh!!! Flaming Shire Camels!!! Noooooooooo!!!Quote:

Flaming camels...I imagine Ali ibn Ali ibn Ali, being from Syria, would use them quite often.
Perhaps his son, Ali ibn Ali ibn Ali ibn Ali, will one day use them too.
Congrats on your promotion Lord Cazaric. My, one hundred posts? That took a while.
Well, a flaming horse would be good, but how one would light it on fire without burning themselves... hmm.
After all, you've got to pick it up with your bare hands, unless you could throw the horse then jump up into the air and light it on fire mid-flight. Now that'd be a plan. Also, I suppose these super soldiers could also mount on a donkey or something, and 'pepper' the enemy with horses from horseback then quickly retreat behind friendly lines. Right? You know, call it Mounted [Insert Unit Name].
Thank you, greaterkhaan! It is good to be a member, even if it feels no different from being a junior one!
You could call them Mounted Horse Throwers, or, in Ali ibn Ali ibn Ali's case, Mounted Horse Archers.
Wahhhhhhhhhh
Mounted flaming quadrupede throwers, with the "camel" special ammunition, which scares horses!!!Quote:

I wouldn't. Well, at least not when it hit me. I would be scared when it was flying at me, but when it hit me, I imagine I'd be thinking....
...Oh, bugger.
You wouldn't be afraid? this definitely proves that you're not a horse, then! :laugh4:Quote:
