Strange that so many people are having problems... I had a clean 0.8, except for Darth formation mod, and i simply installed 0.81 and played, worked fine.
Great news EB doods, wonderful! I can finally start that Romani campaign i've been waiting to start.
And you put in those new cities for 'civilized' factions! That's just the icing on the cake.
You know i love you. Don't you... Yushhhhh... Who's a good boy? Wushiwushiwushi...
That is strange. Paths should not make a difference (mine is definitely not a standard path).
My installation was not fresh. The only thing I did do was to remove all save-games. But the chances of that (or a lacking "Save" directory) being the cause ...
:help: So anyways I decided to dowload the full .81 install, and I was wondering something.
Will installing Barbarian Invasion before I install EB .81 affect Eb in any way? I wanted to play .81 using the BI.exe but I don't want to do anything that might screw up my install or anything like that.
Mine is neither a standard path, it was also installed on a non-clean copy of EB 0.8.Quote:

Well, the game works perfect for me and I can save in the lusotannan campaign. I had a clean EB 0.8 installation in a EB folder.
Thanks BE team for the patch!!:2thumbsup:
The lusotannan load/save bug happens also to me.... very strange (i have a clean istallation)
"The lusotannan load/save bug happens also to me.... very strange (i have a clean istallation"
Im so pissed , the faction i want to play is broken , i been thinking why it doesnt work , cant find the answer BAH
We know the others faction are working ,so Lusitan is missing something , or has something different from others , lets find what is wrong BAH
Yes this lusotannan thing is getting really wierd. Some can save/load others can't. And I'm quite sure I didn't do anything wrong during the instal.
A very weird bug. Half the team has no problem at all, and the other half (including me) is experiencing the same issue you guys are reporting - can't save a Lusotanna game. We are testing out some strategies for dealing with it, however. In the meantime, every other faction is completely, 100% playable. So if anybody MUST play Lusotana, just stay with v.80. Otherwise upgrade and enjoy!Quote:

Hmm, I checked the list of unit changes, and I note there was no mention of the unit recruitment gap in northern Hispania. Does this mean northern Hispania is still devoid of troops?
That aside, YAY! Finally Makedonia no longer needs to go round with hordes of Hoplitai Haploi. And on the other hand, oh no, neither does KH... no more blitzkrieg. xP *ph33rs the foretold Greek Hoplite General's Unit*
I think I found my bit torrent problem... is bit torrent always so slow?
Found the bugging bugger bugging Lusotannans. The thing affects only a certain unit size (huge or large) and is easily fixed.
Quick fix: Goto world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/CAMPAIGN_SCRIPT.txt line 2080 and replace 0.3 with 0.22
Oh yeah, the bug is savegame compatible, in case someone is worried about that :beam:
you don't have to, but it is recommended that you do so.Quote:

I removed the period after your "0.22" The_Mark. Just in case some didn't realize it was the period in the sentence.
Oh, and terrific work btw! :2thumbsup: Mine didn't work before, but it does now! Great fix!
Excellent work as always:)
After a few hours of playing, I can confirm that saka is indeed fully playable now:D
Thank you!
I seem to be having a problem. I've downloaded the patch via BitTorrent, as recommended, and installed it in the EB folder within the RTW one. The EB 8.1 shortcut appears on my desktop, as it should, but it then a window with a flashlight pops up asking for me to browse the computer in order to find the proper .exe. Alright, so I do. I assign the shortcut to open the Rome.exe, because there are no other compatible files in sight within the Rome or EB folder within Rome.
Then trouble begins.
When I open the shortcut it takes me to EB, and so far everything looks peachy. Except when I look at the version number at the bottom left of the menu screen. It still says 0.8.0.
Am I doing something wrong? I had reinstalled everything (RomeTW, EB 8.0, 1.3 & 1.5 patches) prior to putting 8.1 in and still this happens.
:help:
Artificer, the mod *absolutely must* be installed in the directory where your RTW resides. Not the EB subfolder.
Need we say more? ~:cheers:Quote:
