'The only two "whole" nations will be Hyperborea and Argos, because they could be able to annex rebellious Nordic/Zingaran provinces before their neighbours. **Same with Stygia, it could just nab Shemite/Black kingdom provinces before Pelishtia or Kush get their acts together.'Quote:

Eh, why not. The regions can be made rebel relatively easily, once I get started on the map properly I can toy about with whatever seems most balanced for gameplay and Howardian accuracy. The "Keshatta" region of Stygia will probably be rebel, and I might add a few fictional rebel regions too. Not all the Black Kingdoms will be factions though, a couple of independent tribal settlements will be along the Stygian border. Normally Stygia would just send a general down to recruit tribal mercenaries, but if needed the settlements could themselves be taken over.Quote:

Hmmm, the Hyperboreans DID have problems with snow-apes early in their history, perhaps there could be an abandoned town or two in the north overrun by the beasts, a chance for the Hyperboreans to prove their military might and gain some experience for their armies :book:
