thanks for that blank, but also no thanks for beating everyone with that shot of yours!:inquisitive:
Pius, that's a really cool shot! The ordered Roman ranks compared to the charging Getai, great stuff!

Haha! Yeah!
You don't mess with Hypaspistai. Great shot there. Looks like this could be a good month. Keep them coming guys.
Hello.
This being my first post, i want to introduce myself:
I am name, I own all of the Total War games, prefer playing EB.
Some people might know me as "segfaulthunter" at twc.
I wanted to post an edited screenshot I did, but it told me
So I'll post it in the next one, sorry for double posting, but i need toQuote:

So many worthy entries, this month is shaping up real good
Keep them rolling, gentlemen!
Definetely looks as if I've got to get used to some photoshopping techniques rather sooner than later.
name: Which one would you like to enter as you submission? As you can only enter one each month.
At this rate of blatantly obvious (though by doing so amazing) use of sweet lighting and contrast effects in the submissions, those of us that don't use them probably can't win...guess next time I'll need to really mess with my photo's.
P.S.: I like that second one better than the first, name.
im starting to think that we should start to ban using photo-editing programs for the contest to give the guys without cool photo-editing programs a chance. :soapbox:
Thou be'st thanked for thy advice, I´ll take the second one as my submission then.Quote:

I'd edit my post and get rid of the 1st picture if I were you, name (just a suggestion, so your choice is clear to everyone).
hooahguy14, maybe we should have an "edited" and a "not edited" category?
i like that idea! can we do have that? :rtwyes: :2thumbsup:
Nope. Staying as is.
darn. and just to clarify, why not?
Because it doesn't really matter statistically. I don't think any majorly altered image has won any contest yet.
oh- ok. thanks!
We don't want fair competitions, we want them cool screenies.Quote:

True words ;)Quote:

LOL you're meant to submit 1 image per month and leave the "which one do you like?" phase to the voting ;)
Nevertheless, I'd go for the second one of the three.
I know this has probably been asked a thousand times before, but can someone be a kind soul and tell me how to actually capture a battle picture?
Just press the "Print Scrn" button on your keyboard during a battle. In your RTW folder exists a subfolder named TGAS. This is where your screenies get saved.Quote:

Sometimes the screenies show up blank (white). If that's the case their is usually a conflict with your AA (Anti-Aliasing) settings in the Graphic options. Just disable the AA and they should show up normally.
Another way to take screenies is to use a program called FRAPS. That too is free software. Download both and use the one your more comfortable with.
