The list would be far better if it remained uncensored as Dave originally posted it.
The worst part about Dave's warnings is that I never see his posts before he gets warned for them. I only see the censored remants afterwards. I'm interested in seeing the uncensored comments of Dave and hearing what the uncensored Dave really has to say. Finally he makes a thread where that might happen a little bit, and it gets censored again right away. :furious3:
I'll just summarize my opinion by stating the obvious: This thread is hilarious.

I'll just add that every warning I've ever received was from exchanges with DevDave. So as you can see, his magic rubs off! Now if only that were the only thing he rubbed off ...

I must confess to having a slightly more leniant opinion on "un-orgah" language than the offical stance (a few years of working on Construction sites will do that for you) and some of the names that I have been called may even make Dave himself blush. But as he himself has stated the mods do a good job as there are a few delicate and/or younger people here when it comes to language.
I think that one problem is that context and sarcasm are very hard to come across in the written word. A tounge in cheek snipe can look (and read) like an out and out attack.
Well done on still being here Dave, I don't always agree with you but at least it is entertaining.
I am proud of my "no warning point" record. .... but hey, is only a matter of time.
Meh I've worked on farms, metal shops, construction sites and mines... it doesn't mean that I use that choice set of language when I'm in front of a pastor, my grandma or my little one. Just like Total War you have to select the right arms for the occasion.
PS can anyone figure out which warnings I gave Dave?
Now that would be a fun contest. The best one's were when beruit did some part time punishment being mod of the backroom for a week or two. I worked that axe swinger of the North to the bone. You haven't nailed me too many times Pape, but you've got me on my more "colorful" episodes. SO whoever can guess which one(s) Pape's nailed me on gets a free date with my pet goat Delila.Quote:
