As much as we all like the idea of a happy hugfest between Org members, that does not translate well in CyberNations. When several members of Alliance A rush to the aid of a member who is attacked by a member of Alliance B, Alliance B will treat that as a declaration of war. And when Alliance B can collectively bomb Alliance A out of existence, this is not a good thing.

Anyway, that guy agreed with the peace treaty, so its fine now.

yea, I only got 128 troops anyhow. Now I got Tech 10, so I can gets Tanks, yes....!!!!!

Here's a question for those of you more experienced CN players: How much money do you normally keep in your treasury? Is there a certain percentage you generally keep in reserve? Do you save only what you need to cover your bills for a certain period of time? Do you spend your money as fast you collect it?

I just have no real idea as to how much cash is a good amount to keep in reserve -- if at all. :book:

Depends on your size and your alliance. If you're preparing for long-scale nuclear war, you want as much as possible. If you're raiding or preparing for short-scale conventional warfare, having little cash on hand is important.

If you're not looking for a fight, prepare for the former. ~;)

How big are you guys armies usally?


I switched to Federal Government, and went from 128 to 138 Soliders, and I just brought my First 2 Tanks today. :yes:

At the moment, my military stands at 50 planes (45 F-22 Raptors, 5 B-17G Flying Fortresses), 16,524 soldiers, 1423 tanks, and a few cruise missiles.

Got 210 soldiers and two tanks, used to have 10 bombers and lots more tanks and soldiers, but those got wiped by the guy who attacked me :wall:

BTW, before the attack I can make up to 15,000 roubles per day, now its down to a mere 9000... :wall:

This brings up another question I've been meaning to ask. My current military is currently made up of the following: 2317 soldiers, 37 tanks, and 20 aircraft (10 MiG-15 fighters & 10 B-25 Mitchell bombers).

My question is, is this an unbalanced force? Do I have too few tanks and/or planes? (My overall military strength is considered "adequate", btw.)

It all depends on your (taxpaying) population.
You will be wanting as many tanks as humanly possible, especially on defense. Tanks + Technology + Defense = Yum.
As for the planes, I suggest five bombers and a full compliment of fighters. You can get away with five Apache helicopters if you want, so long as the enemy does not have an air force. Using Apaches has the same result as using Tupolevs. The only thing better bombers do is evade enemy aircraft better.

We help using financial aid and diplomacy with the other alliance. However, rushing head-long into a fight is a good way of getting your alliance destroyed.

So should I sell 5 of my bombers and purchase 35 fighters then (in addition to the 10 fighters I already have)?

That's the plan. If you need to make bombing runs, first start with a 45 fighter dogfight, then how many fighters you have left + your 5 bombers on an escort bombing run. From then on, just do escorted bombing runs, you'll see a big improvement in how badly you can dish out damage to the enemy when they no longer have an airforce.

Ok, I've been rather lax on military, and have only been purchasing enough troops to keep my citizens happy. I'm currently sitting on 1,490 Infantry, 20 Tanks, and 1 Aircraft because I'm a cheap ass and would rather spend my money on making more money. Is it sufficient you think considering I have no intentions of going to war?

I brought 1 solider and 1 Tank today. 143 troops and 4 Tanks I have. I could have brought 3, and had 6, but I wanted to buy 2 Infra, so I could get more money.

Tanks, cruise missiles are not needed when you are at peace. They just take money away from buying infrastructure which is the most important part of the game. Just buy enough soldiers to keep your citizens happy for now, and keep buying infrastructure.

Do some tech deals with some big nations, and save up for a harbor to get the extra trade slot.

Now I have 2 trade slots open, so if anyone wants fish or uranium, trade with me!
