You are welcome to download the save (not the one Ignoramus posted, the earlier one) and fight the sally. Factionheir said it is potentially a tough battle, although being a sally, the AI may mess up.Quote:

Has there been any progress concerning my yet to spawn franconian general, or by-now grown up family member ?
:balloon2:
tancred von tyrolia spawned a few turns back in vienna, hes near a polish army last i saw
Yeah, you've got an avatar, Tancred, currently north of Breslau. I'm going to have Tancred join one of HAs, most likely Peter's to see some action and get knighted. He had to spawn in Vienna because that was the closest place with Huge Walls, the building we linked to recruitable Generals.Quote:

.Org is as slow as molasses right now.
Anyone want to spice things up IC?
Sorry m8, Ansehelm is still in Russia.Quote:

GH: nah, I'm layin low for now. I've spiced things up enough around here. Someone else can lob hand grenades for a bit. Too much spice will just lead to a burnt mouth. :beam:
Stig:
1.) Everyone in here seems to be RP'ing drunkards whether its on their traits or not.
2.) Not too much I can do about the whole "reinforcements delayed" event. Thats more to do with the player's computer.
3.) Jan could go into the Diet and lob a bomb or two as well but it gets to where they become less effective the more you do it.
:beam:
Okay, try this:Quote:

Still the computer, eh? I smell a conspiracy here.
Are you trying to claim that my character conspired with your computer to kill your character? o_O
I guess you can try to argue that to the Diet if you want...
If your computer crashes, is that Jan's fault too?
:laugh4:
Well, Jan and Arnold practically live in the Tavern ~DQuote:

True but part of the reason I have Jan go in there so much is for OOC reasons that have to do with wanting to keep the thread alive. That and with EO joining, there are some story threads going on that have to do with the Tavern. Here is a list of who has been in the tavern:
Jan
Jens
Wolfgang
Arnold
Edmund
Dieter
Hans
Elberhard
Peter
Friedrich
Matthias
Gerhard
Fritz
Larisa
Lets see, thats two Dukes, a King, a Prince, a Chancellor, and an ex-Chancellor/Steward. Not to mention most of House Franconia. All of em are drunkards? Well, come to think of it, they probably all are. :laugh4:
haha peter isnt really a drunkard, he just likes to unwind. he got a little stressed that one time when he was fighting with u and drank even more, but hes more there for scoping the hotties. but yeah, jan and arnold seem to be the biggest drinkers.
How about having him send a message to that effect? That way, Ansehelm wouldn't be there for the ensuing chaos.Quote:

Its one of the reasons I've had Jan get away from saying things by proxy. I thought it would be good to RP distance but what your character says has less punch. Plus, we've all seemed to agree that in the twenty years between each Diet meeting, there is plenty of time to have your character go back and forth. :book:

That wording is perfect. :laugh4:Quote:

But, he fervently wishes that his attacks on me will distract the Diet from his own inadequacies as a Duke.
haha gentlemen peace
ur both right.
well, not really. i think ansehelm is a great duke, the kastiliens love him at least
Gibson,
The point was, my pretend letter to the Diet is about as much based in fact as his pretend letter.
As for peace, things would go a lot easier when I can figure out when he's joking and when he isn't. Our PM's get confusing. Since he seems to insist on including me in his little jokes, for some reason best known only to him, this will be something him and I will just have to work out.

Hi All,
FYI on the invitation,
I've got no idea how to do this, so I'm open to suggestions.
There is no time frame as the game and real life are so distorted there is no chance for it to happen.
OK just pressed end turn so we've jumped another year anyway.

Ooh, wonder if Jan will like the outcome or not.
I guess not.
It wasn't much a battle so I put it in the story thread to explain Karl's motivation.
