Favorite New Unit

Uazali are my fav. They remind me of the Hittites.

The late baktrian bodyguard unit. They are... AWESOME....

Them too :)

I like the officer unit for the nomadic horsemen. For whole units, I like the Bosphoran archers.

But I think those guys are pretty weak (morale wise)...they fought for 10 seconds against a unit of Celtic Spearmen, maybe lost 10% of their soldiers and started running away... >.<

The Elite Late Parthian Catapracths are just incredible

Bosphoran Heavy Archers, I've won so many battles from having them empty arrows into the enemy's backs. I could have done this with regular archers but its great having some that can stand up to any non-elite units and not get raped.

i just played a custom battle with the lusotan against a few of them.

i destroyed them with my light spearmen.

what gives?

similarly, once another unit of parthian elite catas had been slowed i was able to pretty much walk through them with my falxmen. i love those guys (drapanadai?)

Yeh, the battlefield AI sucks...so the AI doesn't know how to effectively use heavy cavalry. (they don't give the cavalry enough distance to gain speed during the charge, and they don't break off and charge repeatedly as they should - they only charge once and engage, which is a bad idea >.<)
