Fragony your comments illustrate your views very well

Perhaps the lesson in all this is that if you think people with the same aims as you are nuts then maybe your aims are nuts too

Without immigration, Norway's economy would be in a complete mess now. The oil was pumped up by pakistanis..

Can't blame your economic disaster on the immigrants. Sorry, that one is too cheap.
How 'bout trying this instead: boost your economy to create new jobs to reduce unemployment.

I blame it on
Create jobs for uneducated unintergrated people who can read nor write and don't speak the language? What kind of jobs? And even if we, god knows how, created them, the payoff for working a full week would be just about as high as the welfare they recieve now. Jobs enough by the way, that is why we are all to happy with the poles who do the jobs the immigrants don't want. Welfare state has spawned a group that just can't be activated.

Bah, you savages will never learn how to manage your land.
Time to give it up and recall the nobility, I'd say.

That's what people say here as well, despite the fact that more than 50% of wannabe-immigrants are refused entry.

Those are asylum seekers, we have an extremily harsh policy concerning those, certainly less then 50%, much less I think. But most new immigrants come here through marriage, the majority of the girls import a man from marocco and the men do likewise, often after 4 year they divorce, immigrant is then legal, and they marry again.

You might want to review your laws when marriage is seen as the best/only way to gain entry to your country.

We tried, but there is this lovely thing called europe, they go to belgium, marry there, and move back here. Nothing we can do. Only thing that helps is a complete lockdown of our borders for non-western immigrants.

I wasn't talking about laws to limit immigration.

You mean to get the well educated foreigners aboard I assume? An employer can fix a working permit, but we aren't as popular as a destination anymore, the taxes are high, and because there aren't enough houses the housing is very expensive, if I sell my place and move to the states I can live ten times as spacious as I do now. Immigrants with potential move to the states or canada (and Finland so it seems) and I don't blame them. Sad truth is that we have gotten ourselves into a situation nobody knows how to fix, and to make it even worse the natives have had it and are migrating en-masse.

It's time for those old and wise words: It's the economy, stupid!
Fix that, and you'll fix everything.
BTW, I wasn't just talking about the well educated immigrants, there's a limited number of jobs requiring good education and you could also educate people after they get there.
Oh, and who wants to move to finland, the land of frozen lakes?

Can they be muslim extremists when they divorce? At least in christianity divorce is usually frowned upon. If they're that loose concerning morals and marriage, they cannot be a grave danger.

But of course, if you have any good suggestions I would be delighted to forward them to those that represent us. Economics have been warning for decades that the welfare-state in it's current form would turn out to be unsustainable, but linking it to immigration was political death. Now we still have a very healthy economy, but the tax payers who are funding the party are leaving. You will see quite a few highly able dutchies comming your way in the comming years, Finland and Denmark are both popular migrationcountries. Listen to their tales of woe and conclude that uncle Fragony has a point.

They would choose scandinavia as a tax haven...?
In that case, I doubt that they are "highly able". They're more likely to be "slightly retarded".

As a welfare state haven and because the dutch feel 'connected' with the scandinavians (even though scandinavians aren't exactly the most welcomming people), usually refered to as the netherlands of thirty years ago, you see in scandinavia you pay high taxes and get something back, here you pay high taxes but you have to pay for everything nonetheless, you or your employer.

Re : Danes, what happened here?
Lord have mercy on my soul, but I shall help Fragony get his point across.
Here's a graph of Norway's immigration. It looks exactly like one from France, Belgium, The Netherlands fifteen years ago. Norway only started to receive mass immigration in the late eighties, fifteen to twenty years later than the Rhineland countries. Extrapolate the following for another two decades, and Norway will be where the Rhineland is now:
https://img88.imageshack.us/img88/7532/nor1er4.jpg
As for 'It's the economy, stupid. Improve that, and all your troubles will vanish like snow before the springs sun' - well, no, I'm afraid it doesn't work that way. Take a look at Norway's unemployment graph. Irrespective of economic fortune, the unemployment rates for Norwegians are extremely low, three to six percent. Whereas the ones for immigrants vary more wildly with the economic flow, but are consistently much higher. Will Norway's social oil welfare state be sustainable in twenty years time, when the oil is drying up and the number of non-western immigrants will not be 4% anymore, but 15-20%?

Now that is an absolute classic . The more Fragony writes the less sense he makes .

... bollox , though to be fair he does name one country that has above average unemployment , but that countries rate is falling not rising , and he manages to name a country that though it has below average unemployment is not falling , but it isn't rising either .
How about ....Originally Posted by :

Half of the people leaving the country are migrants returning home , and your en-masse flood of natives leaving is proportionly smaller than it was 40-50 years ago .
Or even ...Originally Posted by :

OK ignoring the fact that 2/3 immigrants are european , what is happening to all these moroccan immigrants ? are they practicing cannibalism or something ? there must be some reason why they make up les than 2% of the population..so Frag are they eating themselves when they arrive ?:laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4:

Not him contending the figures, just saying how they got that way (technically the head of the immigration office is a civil servant of course), what you should be looking for is in the second link.

That one is a little flawed; we received a large batch of immigrants, mostly pakistani's, when we started drilling seriously in the late 60's to 70's.
Oh, and there are a LOT more swedes here than it's shown. there's around 50k working in or around oslo alone.

Our unemployment now is actually negative, in that we lack workers. As of this instant, there are 43 419 people registered on www.nav.no, which is the government site where unemployed people have to register to get aid. That number also includes people who have signed up on the site only to browse job ads, like myself, so the number of actual unemployed people is a little lower. The number of job ads on that site is 31 913. So, we have 40k unemployed and 30k available jobs right now. Now factor in facts like that 60-70% of all available jobs are never advertised, job ads in different places, etc, and the result is that we in effect have no unemployment at all.
Oh, and about the oil, Norway haven't used any oil money for a couple of decades now ~;)
