IA - one of the most unsatisfied, grumpy gits to have ever expressed an opinion! ;) Only joking. Seems pretty liberal on social issues, yet strangely conservative on other issues!

Re: Place The Person Above You
My Socialist comrade!
I seem to recall that he says he is a Liberal Democratic Socialist and a member of the Labor Party... which is incredibly contradictory...
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
you're obvoiusly a leftie... Somebody post something about me that's not a bumper!

CA: Strongly dislikes nationalism, which is a good thing. Alas, he's also a self proclaimed communist, but that's ok, he's still pretty young.
All in all an intelligent guy, so he'll probably come to his senses once he gets a job, a mortgage and a decent haircut ~;p

Well with this statement Andres has become Right Wing. Given the current economic status where the multinational corporation has complete influence over most nations, I wonder if Andres is becoming a Corporate Fascist?

Redleg is a classic conservative -- not necessarily Republican. Staunch for the national defense and a strong proponent of our (USA) military. Frequently posts well-argued counters to our local left-of-center pundits.....whenever he can climb off the Iron Horse long enough to post.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Redleg - represents the well-researched conservative-wing of the Org (As opposed to the other parts of the conservative-wing  ).
@ Andres - :laugh4:
EDIT: Damn you Seamus! Seamus is a fairly typical small-government Conservative. I'm not sure about his social views though.

Seamus is also a classic conservative with a bit more logic ability. However I dont climb off the Iron Horse, I have to stay on the ground to make sure the Iron Horse has a place to run..

Seamus: Fairly moderate, maybe a wee bit conservative when it comes to social matters. Clearly thinks before he posts and seems very well educated. He's religious, but most of the time, he manages to seperate his personal beliefs from his political viewpoints.
EDIT: Redleg: types faster than his own shadow and has beaten me to describing Seamus. Is very conservative. Usually his arguments are well thought. Makes the impression of a guy who has alot of real life experience.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Andres is a slow typing, (very) moderately right leaning BELGIAN.
EDIT: and is a sore loser at mafia, he keeps voting me 'cuz I beat him.
-edit2- He's Belgian. Calling him Dutch is like calling you Texan. :) ~Kukri
-edit3- WHOOPS, my bad. :sweatdrop: I blame lack of sleep due to studying.

Makaikhaan is Mid-Western and speaks distinctively perfect american (Or rather bad british, if you wish)
He probably has some afiliation with the Mongol Empire, and with the Hawaian Kingdom.
As such I can only conclude that he is a Republican.

Re: Place The Person Above You
Count Arch is a socialist through and through

Drone.
Too smart to be Republican.
Too white and Virginian to be Democrat. ;)

IIRC, one of the few monarchists to frequent this board. A classical, in every sense of the world, European.

King Henry.
Koga No Goshi: Recently returned to the Backroom after a long .Org sabbatical and soon found himself on the left's front lines against the withering attacks from the right. Is already perceived as annoying by them, which probably means he's doing his job.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
GeneralHankerchief- A right leaning Phillidelphier, legendary for introducing Mafia to the .org.

Makaikhaan- fairly moderate, with a possible lean to the right.

SwedishFish - A Californian Democrat through and through.

CountArach = your friendly socialist Australian. Some evil men might even use the word "commie" :laugh4:

Re: Place The Person Above You
Sarmatian: pro-russian, not particulary dedicated to either socialism or capitalism. Moderate I think.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Still can't place you exactly, but I would go with moderately left wing.
-
AW: Place The Person Above You
^The most patriotic pro America(and Germany of course) fascist on the Org. His strong advocacy of the military tends to make me agree with him on many military topics. An opponent of Islamo-fascism and the Eurolefties.
-
Re: AW: Place The Person Above You
spmetla: I think, is centrist, maybe a little right of centre judging by the above post.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Rythmic is on the left, but closer to the centre nowadays (or at least I've got that idea for some reason)
(also I think it's a little strange that everybody places me on the left. From a Dutch perspective I'd describe myself as centre-right)
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
I would describe fenring with only three words, Dutch Centre-Left....

A centre-left Serbian who is Nationalist, though not blinded by his Nationalism.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Count Arach, an Antipodean Bolshevik who would surely have anyone with more than two chickens to their name murdered in their beds and a guillotine erected on every street corner.~;)
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
King Henry's a Tory in the classical sense of the word, and would probably defend prince Charles reluctantly if it comes to that.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Fenring would easily be considered a liberal in the US, in Europe more left-center. He general is ok with many freedoms as long as there are limits and controls.
I hope I came close to the mark.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
A strong left-winger, but holds traditionally conservative stances on one or two issues.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Nickerson's a classic blue American blue man, though his beliefs of a balanced budget tint him ever so slightly purple.
EDIT: EMFM is a monarchist with relatively neutral-ish views on the economy, and a desire for a strong sense of public order.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
makaikhaan, I don't know about you, but I think you are a left sided in the economy sense. I got that for the commentary in the chess thread.
-
Re : Place The Person Above You
Have you been done yet in this thread, Caius?
Caius - moderate centre-left. (Gah! Boring. Silly me - why don't I jump into the fray when one of our lunatic fringe posters has just posted? :wall:)
Uhm...Caius sounds a bit disaffected with Argentina's political class. Strongly disapproves of Britain's occupation of the Maldives, and...erm...erm..Caius can tell your economical preferences from the way you play chess. :idea2:
Gee, you got to post more political stuff! I'm running into dificulty here. ~;)
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Louis - classic moderate, sometimes leaning to the right, slightly more often leaning towards the left, if only marginally.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Rhyfelwr: Generally center-left, except on a few particular issues which conflict with his strong Calvinist faith (most notably abortion).
Scottish, not Welsh (but no longer Caledonian).
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
PBI: Left-wing, probably even on the far-left.
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
EMFM is a crazed bloodthirsty lunatic that will stop at nothing to advance the neo-scientologist movement led the the evil asian elvis impersonator!!!
or quite possibly centre-ish maybe slightly right in europe and slightly left in america, believes in a form of monarchy to be useful to a well functioning democracy as a counter wieght to pure populism, is as anti eu as they come preferring it to just a trading zone rather than something transitioning to a super state...
-
Re: Place The Person Above You
Our LittleGrizzly is a common sense liberal (if it were possible to use those terms in the same sentence). ~D

Re: Place The Person Above You
yesdachi is a moderate democrat in the american sense.
