I'm thinking the Mafia *may* be in the most populous area to give themselves the most targets, but we will have to wait until night to find out. They also might have wanted to wait a bit until they announced where they were so that they didn't suspiciously change their location at some point. The only person who I can find in a quick look who posted before they announced their location was shlin but that was only a 2 hour gap - and taka was the only person who announced his location in that gap, and taka chose to go to the spot that shlin decided not to go.
Then again I may be missing someone who did what I just described.
If CountArach's tally is correct we will find the crew in these locations during the night phase.

Am i right in that mafia can only kill people in thier room ?
So for example say CA and Andres are scum (sorry) as things stand they could only kill Ares and Chaotix and would obviously reveal themselves....
If that is true then mafia would likely go for the mess hall / qauters as everyone who doesn't declare goes there... though i suppose you would choose to split up to keep the suspect list as wide as possible....

Rules
By being in a location someone else is not, you may or may not be subject to whatever abilities they may have, and your abilities may or may not be usable only on those in the same location as you.
The rules don't specifically state that mafia can only kill in the room thier in, it only hints towards it with the night abilities line, could we get some clarification on this main host computer ?(or whatever your name is...)

Well I think Sigurd would be pretty silly to kill serei assuming noone else chooses the med bay... thinking on it killing anyone outside of the mess quaters would be a bad idea now, even if mafia killed someone in the flight deck that would leave themself and 2 townies, at best they could be the third person lynched after the death, which doesn't seem like a good survival time for mafia...
TBH assuming that mafia can only kill in thier room i would personally only kill 1 person a night, i suppose this would considerably extend the length of the game, vastly increasing the chances of getting found out or just lucking out and luckily getting lynched, but it would make pinning down the mafia a much bigger challenge...
I guess all we can do is wait to see what happens tonight and then compare it with people moving around during tomorrow.

Also, we need to devise a tactic for catching mafia, if the majority gather in one room, and say only 2 in the others, we know that all deaths in areas other than the populated area will be easy to figure out, once mafia are eleminated in the populus area, the least populus areas will kill townies, and the killer will then become obvious, next round i suggest we (random example:

This way deaths anywhere but the crew quarters will reveal a mafia, however arguably making the crew quarters a absolute danger zone, still i believe some sort of location pattern could shed light on who the mafia actually is.
Furthermore with this system, the 2 people in each room (other than the mess hall) should be decided by all of us, so if there is protest we know there mafia, if we decide where the players go on the location, if we pick a really unpopulous area for a mafia it will at least lessen night kills or reveal who they are if there bold enough to kill the only other person in there room.

Out of the corner of his eye, Ivan noted that the good doctor aboard the ship was staring expectantly at a lectern reserved for engineering. Ivan calmly walked over to the doctor and nudged him, who flinched, having been engrossed in calculations. "Oh, Captain Ivan, it's you. I had jury rigged one of these lecterns to allow me to-" Ivan waved the doctor off. "It is no concern of my good doctor, I know you mean well. Can you give me a diagnosis on the marine Iris White?" The doctor nodded solemnly. "It's the beginning symptoms of almost any Nephilim infection - the first wave simply breakdown and become insane from their own troubles. Although not infected themselves, they are known to tap into the Nephilim's insanity - they are almost prophetic in this regard. However, due to security reasons, we cannot have these kinds of people around - they are liable to make the investigation harder, and actually help the Nephilim."
Ivan nodded. "Then we do what we must." Ivan spun on his heels and walked swiftly to the group of soldiers surrounding Iris. Ivan upholstered his pistol and raised it level to Iris's head. "By the choice of your peers and your own madness, you have been selected as the most likely candidate for hosting a Nephilim. By Order 637C of the Combine Military, I am given power to execute all Nephilim hosts upon sight. May whatever God you go to have mercy upon you, Private Iris White of the ECD Marines."
As Ivan aimed and pulled the trigger, Iris dashed forward, literally throwing herself into the bullets path, which cleaved her skull in half, gore covering the soldiers in the vicinity. As the lights begin shutting down for the night cycle, one marine could not fall asleep. His mind was filled with image of the crazed Iris - why, oh why did she have to go like that? It made him feel cold and distant, and he struggled with her death in his mind. It seems according to YLC's latest post before the night ended, that he didn't get all the required orders.
However, the night was not entirely uneventful.
