Slovaks lost. Those damn Finnies caught up in the third period and scored ahead. I was really hoping the Slovaks would at least get the bronze, but they're going home empty-handed.

I don't know if I'm more angry or depressed right now. Parise's goal in the third was so epic, but then the person who scored the winning goal in sudden-death overtime of the biggest hockey game of our lifetime is the Antichrist himself. I am literally going to have to hear about my least favorite athlete of all-time coming up big in the most clutch of moments for the rest of my life. I have nothing against Canada, but why did it have to be him? Anybody but him!

Oh well, USA with silver is still amazing considering we are like 4th/5th teamwise at best. Canada is just too talented but we did better than anyone standing up to them.
Crosby was clutch in two games and padded his stats against Norway but he was far from Canada's best player and not really the big hero taken as a whole.
Miller was so good and Rafalski should have shared that MVP with him. :balloon3:

These boys played an outstanding game.
Canada was more talented, more experienced and had home ice, but we were still able to take them to OT.
Miller once again stood on his head whilst getting absolutley bombarded with shots.

The defensemen just crashed on Iginla and he made an amazing pass, I will say I've seen Miller make that exact save about 4 times this tourney but a fluke it was not.

Did that actually happen?" Pretty amazing game, it was very important to people up here.
