Man, you guys are racist.
Yeah I know it seems like it's just me here, I don't get the craze about her. I just don't see how people could think she's attractive... she has thin lips, a big forehead, smallish eyes. Plus I think she radiates stuck-upness although others seem to see it as intelligence/elegance.
Anyone else here going to back me up?
I don't consider Emma Watson to be very attractive. And I think that the short hair doesn't work on her. It's definitely too short, and yes, Rhyfelwyr is correct when he mentions her big forehead and tiny face, that give her a kind of unintellectual look.
Edit: Here a good example of what I consider beautiful short hair:

On Emma Watson, well to me it looks as if she wants to attract some Catholic priests. She looks like a young schoolboy...
With long hair, she's not really all that either. She isn't ugly, she's just the average girl. On the length of her forehead, I think it's not that bad. But that's perhaps because I got used to large foreheads thanks to Rihanna's massive one.
Centurio, that thing you posted is friggin gorgeous.
Indeed. Emma Watson looks very, um... manly compared to her (well that's a bit harsh, but if you consider the features I pointed out).
Well, maybe not exactly manly (I still think she is sort of though), maybe more tomboyish. It's like Moros said:
Which is interesting, as her academic achievements include maintaining a straight-A performance on exams even while pursuing her film career with the Harry Potter films, and had her pick of many fine universities, and not because she has money either. I'd also like to mention, her critically-acclaimed and award-winning performances, as the same character over a series of films, is difficult to achieve and not something that you'd find from a dumb-dumb.
I see I am in the minority about her appearance, but that could be due to small sampling. Given the fact that she's an actress and has done modelling, obviously some who are in the business of recognizing beauty agree with my viewpoint. :smug:
So, feel free to disagree, but note all that I am not budging from my original statements, and if you don't like it, I'll just add that to my list of things I view PROUDLY and unflinchingly from a minority standpoint, confident that it is indeed I who is correct. :beam:
:tongue2:
That's exactly what I thought I was doing! There seems to be this craze with everyone thinking she is attractive, and I don't get it, it's everywhere! I'm surprised a few people here have backed me up already.
Obviously, it is clear I was right all along, since the .org is the pinnacle of intellectual excellence on the internet. :clown:
Well, I said "... big forehead and tiny face, that give her a kind of unintellectual look". I never claimed she was dumb. You can look dumb while being intelligent, and you can look intelligent while being the worst dumb-ass in town.
Beauty is not a matter where one is correct and another one is false. It's a matter of taste.
She is sort of cute, though. Just... not without her hair. At all.
Damn chick is losin it.
Mwah, I am with the pizzaguy, looks good on her.
edit holy crap didn't recognise her, now I feel like a dirty old man. And yes I would do her.
Simple. I look at her hair length, hair color, her chest (her "puppies" ), her butt (my favorite part) and her legs.
Face is really important, forgot to add it in my post.
A. HIGH HEELS. Makes the legs better, but if she looks good in flats as well, I don't mind.
B. I like those girls with chestnut/auburn hair. I love them.
C. As long as it looks natural, I'm ok with it. I still prefer natural.
D. Halfway between the knee and the backside. Shorter than that then it's not a good sign.
E. FIT. If a girl is fit and has a good looking face + character, then it's a win.
A. Not really.
B. All work for me a brunette or a black haired woman ca be very attractive. Though ginger-red and blond might work a tad better. Though as Alizee clearly demonstrates, is far from a requirement.
C. If I don't notice it, I'm okay. If I notice it, I guess I notice it. If the hair in general is stylish and fits her face, style and skintone, I don't mind it.
D. It's difficult to say. It's far from difined by how much of the body it covers. It depends. One woman can wear something and look stylish while another wears the same and looks like a streetwalker.
E. Normal and healthy.
To answer your question, no I do nor "fancy" women if they paint their fingernails. However, a girl who puts effort in to look pretty (in most cases) shows that she cares about herself and, whilst it isn't attractive, a woman who doesn't care for herself is unattractive. At the same time I'd stress that women who overdo it with the makeup and fake tan are also unattractive. Natural beauty, perhaps accentuated, is the best and most attractive.
She was so pretty, too. Why'd she have to do that?
Male (as I'm sure everyone knows by now...)
1. Are you (if you're a man) or are men (if you're a woman) attracted by painted fingernails? Nope. Usually don't notice unless told about it, or they're black. and don't like black fingernails...
2. Are you (if you're a man) or are men (if you're a woman) attracted by longer nails or fake nails? Nope. don't care either way. In fact, I dislike long nails if anything, they scratch too much :P
3. Are you (if you're a man) or are men (if you're a woman) attracted by jewelry? ....Sometimes. Necklaces and Earrings usually look good, though they aren't a huge bonus.
4. Are you (if you're a man) or are men (if you're a woman) attracted to painted toenails? ??? Not really. I guess I could be though.
5. Which do you prefer, long or short hair? (in general) Long. At least to shoulder, preferably to shoulder-blades/lower.
Mostly about the face though. and body. I like petite girls usually, and pretty face is a must.
Thanks to all for their honest answers, very informative.
So are ya plannin' on changin yo style? Tryna get yoself a man, maybe? Tell us about it.
That's kinda freaky, bro.
No, I don't need to change my style. I don't do many of the things you guys don't like anyway. The only thing I do is wear a light color nail polish on my shorter (but not too short) nails, and wear some tasteful jewelry at times. I'm a nurse, :nurse: so we can't have fake or long nails, or wild colored polish. But this is my style anyway. I'm a tasteful and classy lady.:gorgeous::blush: :laugh4:
@ Pizza
Using the pimp smiley, when talking about me, uh :girlslap: :laugh4:
MAN!!
1. Are you attracted by painted fingernails?
No... I dislike strong colours on fingernails.
If they absolutely want to paint their nails, use colourless or VERY light opaque colours.
2. Are you attracted by longer nails or fake nails?
Absolutely no.
I do notice nails on girls. I am impressed by well tended natural looking nails.
3. Are you attracted by jewelry?
Not really.
Conservative jewelry like a single necklace and small earrings/rings can enhance beauty though.
4. Are you attracted to painted toenails?
No... I don't like shoes on girls that show their toenails either.
5. Which do you prefer, long or short hair? (in general)
In general I don't think it matters. I have had girlfriends with both and I was very much into them at the time. Currently my sweetheart (wife) has long hair and I can therefore say that I currently prefer long hair.
A. High heels, turn-on or don't care
Deceptive. Heals that shape the legs is alright. Heals that significantly add height is a no no. I do prefer no heals though.
B. Color of hair
Natural. I do prefer blond though (but not fake).
C. Processed hair (bleached, colored...)
Natural with highlights is ok.
D. Where is the line between sexy and trashy cloths...
We need to be able to imagine how some body parts of the woman looks like.
Not too much cleavage or thigh.
E. Height and body weight
Personally I like tall and slender. I had a girlfriend once who was as tall as I was (6 feet). I really liked that fact.
If I may answer the very question in the thread header without the constraints of the parameters provided:
What do I notice about women?
The first thing I notice are their collarbones. I like straight outlined collarbones and is a foundation for a long neck.

Women with these attributes usually are slender and tall. If she has curves as well, she is to me very attractive.
