Sounds to me like he didn't see the official notice.

I know who I'm investigating tonight...

He pointed out that Arjos was king when he voted him, then claimed ignorance as an excuse.

He could quite easily have been referring to Arjos' posts in that first comment though.

Day One

Once the news arrived that the infamous rebel is in the city it's gates were shut and no one were allowed to enter and leave the city. King Arjos ordered people to assemble in the town square and told them they should try to find the rebel themselves by voting for the one they think is guilty. For some reason some people misunderstood him and started to vote for him. After King Arjos explained once again what the people must to they started to find the culprit. Though King Arjos suspects those votes against him were not placed by accident.
While the people debated King Arjos elected two councilors to help him. Sir Visorslash became Marshal of the Realm and a lowborn Montmorency became the Master of the Spies. When the sun started to disappear behind the horizon King Arjos demanded the name of the person his people thought to be guilty. It was one of the nobles who had received most votes - Sir Zaccino.
Sir Zaccino tried to reason the people but no one was listening him anymore. Executioner did his work fast as always and Zaccino's beheaded body was thrown outside the city walls into the moat. His head was put on a spike for everyone to see what will happen to traitors.
As the people walked into their homes they could only hope they managed to get the rebel.

Visorslash is Marshal.
Montmorency is Spy.

They will remain into those positions until Arjos decides to recruit new people or they are killed/lynched.

I was reading the visitor messages in my page and then by chance I noticed that my account shown that I had access to a gameroom private room...
At that point I hoped that only my own profile would disclose that, so to double check I moved to Monty's page and, hey presto, I found the mafia XD

Gah... That's annoying. I'm happy to go with a fresh start.

Ah, drat, sorry. It never occurred to me that permission groups would display there. That happens because of the change I made to allow the Gameroom Moderators to give access to those fora. I've turned it off, so that stuff doesn't display anymore. Unfortunately, that means you'll have to go through a TA to get access, instead of a Gameroom Mod. I'll look for other solutions to this problem as well that don't remove that functionality. Really sorry about that...

Give me a day to shuffle around the roles. I will also make some small changes(basically to the mafia roles).

However, please do not post your roles!!

Bwhahahahahah, I didn't disclose it at the beginning, but Visor wanted to give you a role tomorrow, so I told them, because I thought it would've been better to have more people in the network, instead of giving all powers to the same player :D

I thought I'd be the last person Visor would advise giving a role to, my suicidal WIFOMery has not been to his taste recently.:laugh4:

No need to apologise TC, luckily it was caught early so no harm done. I think everyone in the Gameroom appreciates your efforts to improve the gaming experience, it certainly makes a difference when the staff pay attention. You can't get everything right first time. :bow:

Anyway, all public roles will remain the same. All items and how they can be used will remain the same. What will change are mafia roles.

Now that I thought about it I actually saw those permission groups on profiles but for some reason it never occurred to me that others might see them as well. :wall:

Ok, I completely removed that info box from the profile section. Doing this allows me to restore the ability for Gameroom Moderators to give access to those fora, while still keeping membership in those groups hidden. If you notice any information about membership in those groups being displayed anywhere else, please let me know immediately.

I noticed earlier today that when I was viewing the private thread, my name came up in the list of viewers of the forum. Not a super big deal when there are a lot of threads, but when there are just a few, then it could be game breaking as well.

That's not an issue. You always see your own name, even when you are invisible, but your name remains hidden to everyone but Staff. You can tell that this is the case because there is a * next to your name; that symbol indicates that the person is in invisible mode.

Ah, OK. But everyone should be aware of that so that if they are not in invisible mode you might be seen. I could see Monty viewing the forum this morning too. ;)
