Sorry.

Not sorry.
day has ended write up to follow
Lazy sat staring stubbornly at the magical items laid out before him. The last thing the majority had uttered was their own stubborn refusal to have any of them discarded. Some kind of
solidarity amongst magical artifacts that Lazy respected to a degree, but which didn’t help ease the now-obvious physical metamorphosis that the barbarian warrior was undergoing. His flesh looked corpse-like and his breath had acquired a long drawn out rattle.
Finally, one of his artifacts piped up ‘Get rid of the underpants! - The underpants did it!’
Lazy looked down at the COIN-OPERATED CODPIECE OF WHANG.
The pleasurable sensations it produced (for only a small quantity of Gold) would be sorely missed, but perhaps it did indeed harbour a more malicious trait.
The sun was setting and Lazy feared that he would not see the dawn.
With a sigh he lumbered to his feet and was about to send the legendary truss tumbling into the abyss, when he halted; mid-kick.
The collective voices of the artifacts weighed on his mind. Perhaps given another day, they would root out the evil amongst them. Lazy wondered if he would see another day.
Night had fallen and sleep would not come quickly enough.
It is night. 24 hours for orders.
night is ended. write up to follow
Lazy awoke and struggled to his feet. At first he thought some malevolent fog had descended, until he realised that the sky was in fact clear for the first time in days, but the fog that had descended was over his vision. The curse was worsening.
He fumbled for his sack ...of magical items, and drew each of them out of the bag in turn, as if somehow his sense of touch would allow him to identify which of the objects had been accursed.
The COIN-OPERATED CODPIECE OF WHANG felt as it always did - heavy and potent. His legendary helm: JHIMIHIL’S GRILLPIECE was as sturdy and reassuring as ever, and his boots, MHAXIGRYP’s SOUL CRUSHERS looked as shiny and respendant as they had always been. That was strange... where was his bow? Where was the bow of the ancients: The MAGNIFICENT GO-RHI-FROOMI?
All that remained in the bottom of the sack was a handful of splinters. Lazy let them fall through his fingers and hung his head in his hands.
Memnon has been killed
WIth a calm voice, but not without a tinge of hurt, Lazy spoke quietly:
‘Ok, which of you bastards did that?’
Day Four begins - will last 36 hours if needs be, but if everyone has had their say in 24 I shall get to adjudication
Play on
That's a weird kill choice. :inquisitive:
Anyway, Johnny boy and Jarrema to choose from. Both are pretty scummy, though I must say I am initially leaning towards Jarema, though JHT is brazen which is often what he does as scum. More thoughts later.
Lazy, could we have 48 hours for voting please?
My suspects: I am 90% on Visor, 9% on JHT, and 1% on Jarema.
1. Your initial ploy.
2. You haven't been killed.
3. You didn't vote No Lynch and got Arjos killed, despite being on at various times.
4. I got a feelin'.
5. I understand precisely what JHT was doing with his vote on you yesterday: putting you into a difficult position.
Any scum would have killed you N1.
His contrarianism made it impossible for him to be killed without bringing down a storm.
Visor as scum could only now kill Memnon or Jarema, and Jarema was his stated suspect, no?
Jarema as scum would have killed JHT to frame you.
JHT as scum - well, that's the 9%.
Why would I have been killed Night 1? The scum could either leave me alive, to use me as a LYLO lynch, or take the chance that the rest of the town believes me and kills me off.
They didn't go through with it, and never did - that's the point. They never would have, in a mini game. If this were a small game of Role Madness, it would have made sense to leave you alive as a target of night actions and whatnot, spoilings perhaps.
Something else I noticed: you only pushed for your own lynch half-way into the day, thus increasing the likelihood of your survival. Good plan, but I see through it.
Because I did it Day 1, yes they would keep me alive. I'm perfect lynchbait.
Monty, not only did I selfvote, but I advocated my own lynch for at least a time. Jarrema's next post was not a vote for me, like it should be.
"I would vote Visor as always, but I do not like this wagon on him"
This sticks out to me. Does it not to you?
"yes, self vote but I still dont think it is good. I think you are vanilla innocent, as you claim,"
Jarrema is completely unlike his townie self here.
"Yeah, of course. To me, you seem to be one of the scummiest player in this mini. I do not have time for analysis now, but anyway, it is night"
If JHT is scum, then I will be slightly annoyed at myself, but to me, Jarrema sticks out, from these posts alone. He's the scumbag.
EDIT: Of course JHT could've killed Memnon so that we would vote each other, and JHT cruises to victory...
It seems from your previous post that you suspect me mostly because:
1. I thought you were townie initlally, so I didnt voted for you when I should in your opinion
2. I wrote that you seem scum to me.
I stick out from accusing you alone??
Isn't it scummy, Visor?
vote: Visorslash
if JHT is sc
I do not know why6 the forum cutted that, so I repeat:
if JHT is scum, I would be surprised
Vote: Visorslash
Appalling...
Lynch JHT already XD
Actually, you're right - there's no way Visor would have allowed a situation wherein both of the other survivors were against him to develop. He would have killed Jarema.
Or at least would have attempted to persuade Jarema by now.
Look, if John is scum, he's really just playing with us now, by only posting a vote. Hence I think he might be a townie.
John, you need to side with me on this one (if you are town), remember the Copa Clash? We could do it again.
You're making a bad decision.
I realise I erroneously put Saturday GMT on yesterdays post. you have 24 more hours from now
@johnhughthom
If you really think I'm scum, please give me a reason.
I didn't like your asking for the 48 hours. Seems to me scum would be more likely to want the time to ensure they could talk people round.
Yes, scum-Visor would make a more vigorous case.
You were 3rd-party - there's a difference.Quote:
I was scum then,
Out of curiosity, which pieces of equipment are you two?
and Monty, I am boots
Unfortunately, I'm Jimmy's Grill. I think Lazy cooks his dinner on me, or something. I'd love to be the Codpiece of Whang though. What a knob Lazy must have to need a Codpiece of Whang.
This will be silly, but why not:
Soulcrushing Boots - seems obvious
Codpiece of Whang - Crow is telling a humorous tale
Grillpiece of Whatever - the one least-suspected
On how the alignment of each might be deduced from name.
"Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willu-u-u-s?"
That's from that show: Family Matters.
Yes, but I am quoting the name Bruce Willis used whilst playing John McClane in Die Hard talking to the police officer.
No, but I sure would have a "different stroke" to Gary Coleman's fine-:daisy: wife, Dana Plato!!
These are poor jokes.
wtf is going on here?
why are we talking about such stuff? I do not ever know half of that
Over here in the west, we have this thing called tv. On tv they show things called shows. We are discussing tv shows. In the west we watch tv instead of drinking vodka all day.
Meh. Unvote; Vote: Jarema
Visor is either town, or has worked out what I was at and deserves to win.
What a curious question.
You guys can go ahead and do a spinning roulette of vote changes for the rest of the day now.
I'm planning at least two more. Three if I go down the old self vote route.
We are down to three people, two of us are examining the behaviour of two others, the other is trying to play the other two against each other. Only scum would be basing their vote on the behaviour of one player, a townie would be looking at both, and basing their vote on such.
yes, of course. I was just seeing your vote as based only on examining behavior of Visor
And both your and Visor's votes appear to be based solely on examining each other, with a little fluff about me thrown in for good measure.
good point :)
he just seems so scummy to me, that I have to vote for him
I believe that we are now in situation in which neither me nor Visor will change vote. I think you will decide who is going to be lynched. Therefore, it is important that you examine both sides of your choice
Guys, he literally just admitted to being scum!
Jarema isn't looking good tbh...
mmm
Why so silent?
There is nothing more needs to be said. Unless you are scum trying to get out of a bind.
well, I will just reiterate: the one who will be lynched now will lose, no matter if he is scum or not. So of course, I would gladely change your choice
Day is ended. Write up will be in the next couple of hours
(sorry had no Internet. Apparently Virginmedia will give me a pound off my monthly bill. Awesome.)
So: Lazy sat wearily in front of his remaining treasures, but the remaining part of him which had not yet succumbed to the vile curse, paid great heed to the back and forth of the magical items. For a while it appeared that he would indeed have to say goodbye to the coin-operated codpiece of WHANG! But at the end of the day it was the boots that had the stinky finger pointed at 'em. Lazy sighed.
He picked the boots up by their leather tops with trembling hands. The best scenario he could imagine was that he'd be walking back to Brighthelmstone in his socks.
Holding his fingers tightly crossed, McCrow took a deep breath and then flung the legendary and magical boots into the ravine. Sleep then took him and he crumpled to the floor.
It is night. 24 hours for orders.
I can tell you.. because I forgot to include in the post above. That Jarema has been lynched.
