Hurrah! No more molossian dogs! Took care of those Epierotes nicely...
Thanks Owen. Its becoming more and more difficult to deal with all the territory. Having to raise armies only in Italy to deal with problems elsewhere is tedious. But I guess that how the Romans actually did it. Im hoping the Marius reforms happen soon to help me with this. Diplomatically I am in a dillema. Macedonia is Allied with the Aeudi. Do I risk open war with both powerful nations? Or do I just hope for the best? The Aeudi Are still in a major conflict with the Sweboz although the Sweboz are losing the war overall. The other option is Africa. The Selucids are firmly entrenched in Aegiptus and I see no way of easily prying them away from it. They own 60 provinces to my 46. Ive checked their progress in Libya so far. So it comes down to Macedonia or Aeudi. Im leaning Macedonia because their armies are so much more disciplined and represent the greater threat to the legions. Besides they are bigger than the Aeudi at this point. Hopefully the Senate will make the right move.
Hm....well, what you could do is wait until the Aedui-Sweboz conflict has ended, so that the majority of the Aedui armies are a few seasons away. Then, you could strike with say 3 legions from Italy and maybe 3 legions from Iberia into Gaul, and at the same time you could send a massive naval invasion across the Adriatic with say 5 legions at Ambrakia.Quote:

Anyways, whichever way you see fit to solve this problem should be great either way in your AAR:2thumbsup:
I completely agree with Owen the Mighty.
Just letting you know im still here its just been slow going. Alot of fighting and battles makes progress through the game slow. I will probably have an update here in a few days. Going to be out of town this weekend but will update when i Return.
Update forthcoming...
Nice AAR Chirurgeon.
You could always try paying other factions to attack the maks and AS. Sort of soften them up before you launch your own invasions.
Well its a little late for that im afraid...im already embroiled in a war with the Macedonians. Most other nations are either destroyed or are just shadows of themselves. Only the Aeudi are close enough in strength to hurt the AS and they are a continent away. Im afraid the Burden is on me.
Chapter XII - Death Cry of the Arverni and Invasion Preparations
In 171 BC in the area known as Moesia south of the Danube river the last of the Arverni tribe had settled. Having these old enemies of Rome adjacent to the Dalmation coast would not be good for the republic. Already the Arverni had two great armies to protect its limited land. Clearly it was thought that the Arverni would not be satisfied to stay put. Cnaeus Germanicus in his last year as Consul took it upon himself to rid the Arverni of the world and would do so in two major engagements. Invading from the south he led the veteran army of the Germanian wars against the horde. The Arverni attacked in the dead of winter while the Romans were in winter quarters.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...ntum/XII-1.jpg
Causing much panic among the new recruits the consul proceeded to rally the men and form them into battle lines. The engagement was brutal and the slingers the Gauls had brought were destroyed by the Magister Eques, Oppius Crispus Flaviaunus, and the Eques Extrodinarii. The cavalry having made itself to the rear of the Arvernian lines caused panic and with the death of the Arvernii King the remainder of the barbarians attempted to flee.
Many were cut down as they ran.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...ntum/XII-2.jpg
Those men ran through a raging snowstorm to end up in their capital of Singletum on the Danube. Here they awaited their fate. In the Spring Cnaeus Germanicus led his men to the capital and began a long seige. The following winter the survivors stormed out of the gates in a last ditch effort to dislodge the Romans.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...ntum/XII-3.jpg
The Roman and Gallic cavalry engaged on the left flank with the Romans prevailing and yet another dead chieftain for the Arverni. The Roman Cavalry had free reign of the battle field and ultimately destroyed the right flank of the Arverni. Starving and cold the situation seemed hopeless and the Arverni fled back to the city where many froze to death during the rest of winter months. In the spring the city officially surrendered and the inhabitants sold into slavery.

With the new year beginning Cnaeus Germanicus resigned as Consul and moved to Patavium to govern the city there. His Magister Eques was named consul and the Senate wished the legions to travel to Epirus. O. Flavianus was asked to come to a private meeting of the senate in which the plan to invade Macedonia was hatched. A fourth legion was being raised to be sent to Epirus to begin the invasion. The plan was to have the legions of Rome move at lightning pace capturing the lightly defended cities of Thermon, Corinth, Sparta, Athens, Demetrius, and Chaklis. Then they turn north and capture the capital of Pella. After a brief respite the Legions were to capture every city south of the Danube alll the way to the Black sea. This would cut the Macedonians of from the Rich Aegean and allow the legions of Rome to prepare an invasion of Anatolia. Diplomatically things had been arranged with the Aeudi. They would not honor the alliance of Macedonia when the time came. No doubt that when the first drops of blood are spilled between the Macedonians and the Romans the Macedonians would ask the Aeudi for assistance. The Aeudi would not honor the treaty and the Macedonians would have no allies against Rome.
Another update later today!
Yay looking forward to the Roman-Makedon war(s)!
Have you been able to get Marians yet? I heard those are a life saver against hellenic factions.
Chapter XIII - The Macedonian war - Capture of Pelloponessus and the Aegean Peninsula
In the course of five years the Romans would bring the Macedonians to their knees. In a blitz of the Aegean 25% of their provinces and major cities would fall into Roman hands.
With their field armies deep in Anatolia the Macedonians could not adequately defend their territory. Four legions moved down the coast of the Adriatic attacking first Thermon and then the cities of Sparta and Corinth. After spending the winter of 167 in quarters they again renewed the offensive in 166 and promptly captured Athens and Chaklis.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-10.jpg
The two consular armies swung north and devestated the city of Demetrius and quickly arrived at the Macedonian capital of Pell by the fall of 166 BC. It was in and around the capital that the most fierce fighting raged. The Macedonians, having lost their primary homeland provinces, were relying on unreliable mercenaries. Time and time again the Macedonians were defeated.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-20.jpg
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-19.jpg
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-15.jpg
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-12.jpg
The situation could not have been more grim for the Macedonians. The Aeudi tribe did not honor the pre arranged defense treaty, they had lost most of their powerful cities, and the army was an amalgam of mercenaries and hellenistic troops that had not been properly trained.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...ntum/XII-7.jpg
Whats worse is the Macedonians did not field adequate cavalry. This alone turned many of the battles. The Romans had everything going for them. With the retirement of Gnaeus Germanicus, his wonderfully competent Magister Eques took over as Consul and performed admirably.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...m/XII-21-1.jpg
He named Publius Cornelius Scipio as his magister Eques.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-22.jpg
Together the two men would shatter an empire and become some of the most influential people in the republic.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-23.jpg
In the rapid disentegration of the Aegean the Senate named Oppius Crispus Flaviaunus Macedonius.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-11.jpg
With his new title he quickly destroyed all armies that dare challenge the legion.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-16.jpg
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XII-13.jpg
With adequate funding and manpower streaming in from Italy there was nothing to stop the Roman tide from its relentless march. Pella finally fell in 163 BC after a series of brutal fights.

P Scipio used the cavalry in amazing maneuvers that destroyed the Macedonian Cavalry and then promptly would destry the skirmishers. Using the Extrodinaire of the allies the Roman cavalry quickly became some of the most distinguished in the known world. O. Macedonius knew the value of the cavalry as he himself decided many an engagement against the Germans and the extinct Arverni tribe. The battle plans were generally the same. P. Scipio and the allied cavalry would seek out the enemy cavalry and run them off the field. Once this was accomplished they would have free reign and generally would obliterate slingers and other such skirmishers. The macedonians were certainly hurting in the Cavalry department and the Romans took full advantage. P. Scipio had gained quite the Reputation back in Rome and had a devout following. Suddenly equestrian interests had grown significantly in Italy and everyone wanted to be seen on a horse. After fighting numerous battles The legions of Rome rested in the countryside outside of Pella. In the Spring of 162 the offensive would be renewed and the Macedonians would be helpless in stemming the tide of the Romans.

@wolfman no I havent gotten the Marius reforms although I suspect im close. Im hoping that Oppius Crispus Macedonius is named consul. He has all the necessary requirements. He isnt 40 years old yet and I think you have to be 40 to be considered eligable for Consul. We shall see. He doesnt have populares yet, although im not sure why, so If i get the Consul trait and populares it should be a sealed deal. Although to be honest my armies are more than holding their own.
Good Job with the Macedonians! I've heard that the successor states could be tough for the Romans. and Good luck with the Marians! too, bad there's no way to have a civil war in this game because a Eb Sulla would be awesome.
I agree jesus a sulla would be good. I think im getting close to the marius reforms. Regardless I really dont need them as my armies are toasting everything in their path. The Macedonian armies maneuver very slowly with the phalynx and all that. I run circles around them with my maniples of hastati/principe/ and allies. Plus my cavalry has demolished everything the Macedonians have thrown my way.
I guess you just have to be a good general.
Well if they fielded an army that wasnt hodgepodge and used good tactics i might be given a run for my money. The problem is that im fighting in their country which means i have very little to lose and they....well they have everything to lose. Alot of stuff going on in the next update..again thanks for following the chronicles of Rome :)
Are you using the darth mod for EB mod? that helps. (probably too late by now  )Quote:

Thanks Warmaster. I appreciate your comments :) Well when I do another AAR Perhaps I will add that Mod. I just didnt want to mess up EB after finally getting it going. Thanks for watching. I should have an update in a couple of days. Alot of developments to talk about. I was in France last summer. A beautiful country you have there :) Started in Paris -> Normandy -> Loire valley -> Pyranees -> Spain. Still a lot I want to see and revisit. Next time im going to spend time in Bordeaux and make an effort to see the Aqueduct that spans a river in southern France. Not sure exactly where it is but I hope to find it...I think this is a picture of it:
http://www.facstaff.bucknell.edu/mvi...nt_du_gard.jpg
That's near Orange (you should be able to find it on a map), I think. It was built by the Romans, of course, and is a very nice aqueduct.
Anyway, good luck continuing this!
When are you going to stop? EB victory conditions met, or personnal wishes?
Wow......
That has had to be one of the best invasions I've ever seen......
Great job!
Thank you very much Owen. I figured a Blizt of the Aegean would be Appropriate in putting the Macedonians on their heels.
@ Horus. Well If I get attacked then the Republic must respond :) So I guess as long as their are enemies on Romes borders than yes. Update tonight. Alot has happened in the last 10 years of the Republic.
PS when you look at my territorial map in the last update how well does that correspond with historical territorial gains with the Romans? Just curious to see if my acquisitians and what happened in real history are comparable.
Can't wait for the next update, one of the best AAR I've ever read so far
Keep up the Good work
:smash:
@marioo! I cant thank you enough for the compliments. This has been an intensive process with making videos and doing stories. Believe it or not I am considering another AAR. You guys have inspired me. Of course thats a while off with this one still going strong. I find it challenging and rewarding keeping 60 provinces in line and fighting a huge war. I should have an update in a couple of hours. Just finished the video for the next chapter and story. Now I just have to edit all the Screenies :)
Chapter XIV - Continuation of Macedonian War and Military Reforms
The situation in the Republic had become desperate in order to maintain garrisons and Legions in locations outside of Italy. The introduction of large scale industrial agriculture put alot of small farms and businesses out of work. In essence the Republic was reeling from high unemployment and the Senate was aggresively searching for a solution. Gnaeus Germanicus or the Great Vanquisher of the Germans south of the Danube had been voted princeps senatus and took his agenda to the floor of the senate. Essentially he wanted to create a professional standing army that would be commanded by a Legatus Legionis. The senate would control who commanded what legion and only placing loyal individuals of potentially great power in those positions. Two Consuls would still be appointed but the make up of the infantry would be changed dramatically. The Hastati, Princepes, and triarii would be combined into one type of heavy infantry unit.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...um/XIV-XII.jpg
Each unit would be provided equipment from the state and those individuals would enlist for 20 years. The pay would be reasonable and the soldiers could retire to a plot of land at the end of service. Land ownership was very important in these times as land ownership attributed to the status of the individual.
These changes would take sometime to implement across the Republic. In fact the consular armies under Oppius Crispus Macedonicus would not use these new infantry units at all. The existing groups of Triarii, Hastati, and Princeps all had several years left and although O. Macedonicus approved of the new cohorts he would not have time to stop the campaign against the Macedonians until all of the land south of the Danube was secure.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...um/XIV-XVI.jpg
These new professionals were instead initially assigned to garrison forts alongh the Danube river. By 152 BC a total of five legions guarded the crossings of the Danube. From its orgins deep in the Alps until it flowed into the Black Sea there were 11 places that were considered fordable. The senate made haste to fortify and control these crossings. Each legion had a base in a province and the Capital of that province had a governor who acted as the Legatus Legionis. Each ford was guarded by five cohorts and an equal number of local troops. All people and commerace had to pass the scrutiny of the legion before they were allowed to enter the republic.
Between 163 and 152 BC several Germanic armies attempted to cross the river but was repulsed each time. With the great Barbarian war raging north of the Danube the Republic went for a model of containment. Maintaining five legions with all their auxillaries was costly and so was the continuing war against the Macedonians.
The war against Macedon was going splendid at this point. By 152 BC the kingdom of Macedon was forced north of the Danube and into Anatolia. After Pella fell in 163 The Romans went on a tear through Thrace and all areas until ultimately reaching Byzantium. Every army that the Macedonians threw at the Romans were often completely obliterated.

The tenacity of the Macedonians is an amazing topic itself. Should the Macedonians organized themselves better and had better coordinated attacks then perhaps the Romans could have been repelled. It is unlikely to have lasted though. Roman persistance always seems to prevail.Their progress was checked and entrance into Asia Minor was denied over and over as The Macedonians attempted to recapture Byzantium no less than 7 times. Each time they were repelled but the Romans had lost the momentum. Intstead of invading Anatolia the Romans stopped and consolidated what they already had. Much of the land had been devestated from decades of war and it would take time to heal from those wounds. Another factor also slowed the progress of the Romans.

At the age of 47 Oppius Crispus Macedonicus's consulship was up and he asked the senate not to renew it. He would instead become Governor of Rome and help raise his own children in the great city. The Senate upon hearing this and of a Heroic Victory against the Macedonians in the defense of Byzantium, awarded O. Macedonicus a Triumph.

https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...m/XIV-XIII.jpg
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...um/XIV-XXI.jpg
The celebrations would last nearly a year. In his absence and wishing the war to continue to finality the senate nominated Publius Corneius Scipio as the next consul to deal with the Macedonians.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h.../XIV-XVIII.jpg
As we shall see in the next chapter P. Scipio would make great use of the new cohorts and of his new Eques Legionis, Avlus Vicinius Macrobius. A. Macrobius was raised in Africa and was quite the Master of Horse.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...um/XIV-XIX.jpg
P. Scipio having been a great horseman would need to replace his role with someone else that could stand up to the challenge. Using native horsemen from Thrace and other regions, Cavalry would help the Roman cause immensely.

A Triumph! :jawdrop:
Congratulations man.
As always a wonderfull installment, I can't wait to see how Publius Scipio will use the new Marian Legions. :2thumbsup:
[sorry for my bad spelling, english isn't my mother language =[] :charge:
Yes Marioo! a Triumph :) A well earned one I think as well. I will have a video for the last chapter as well...just waiting for it to be encoded on photobucket. Also have a map pic to add to the chapter as well. Check back for that :)
I think you are officially the first AAR to get a triumph. Congrats man!!!:beam: :2thumbsup: And I was there to see it all. I will be telling my decendents about this moment for ages. You are officially a legend.
Wow! Marian reforms and a Triumph?! Good job! :2thumbsup:
@wolfman: I havent read too many Roman AARs on here that last any considerable length of time(except for roma bulls which is a very good AAR). I would think if people had played longer than they would have gotten a Triumph. I have read elsewhere on the forums that the triumph trait is broken somehow and people have met all the requirements and nothing happened. I wasnt planning on grooming this guy for greatness, It just kind of happened. I only place intelligent/charismatic/vigorous family members in positions of controlling armies. The worst is the Langrous when trying to march. I had one guy that could only move a little bit each turn because he was "bed-ridden". After that I vowed only to have intelligent/charismatic/vigorous Consuls/generals.
Thank you for sharing the history of the Empire with your children :)
@Marcus: It all happened at once. He was named Consul, Won a Heroic Victory, got the popularis trait, and BAM! Marius reforms and time to to come to Rome to recieve a Triumph! I could scarcely believe it myself. That Triumph is looking lonely though. Perhaps someone else could join it at some point.
On a side note Photobucket is behaving in a homosexual manner and will not let me post the full video. So you wont get the video I intended. Im going to try and post one thats like a minute long. I captured some pretty cool stuff in the last chapter.
Just updated the last chapter with a video of the various battles over the last 10 years
I don't have kids yet I was being dramatic. Heck I'm not even married.
Me either...marriage is scary
Chirurgeon, you are truly kicking ass with your Romans!
(Triumph + Broken Macedonians + Marian Infantry = One Happy General)
off topic note to Chirugeon: What would you do for an AAR, Epirus or Aedui?
thanks Owen. Yes the Marian Infantry is very strong. I have been using a number of tactics with them. Ive been using the ligher legion troops...cant remember name off the top of my head but anyway they are fast and have a punch...to engage skirmishers or to move to engage flanking units. They are really fun and flexible unit.
I am wondering about your question for an AAR. I think Epirus would be a good one to go with but I think the Aeudi would be fun because you could just unleash an entire mob of barbarians on your enemies. The combat styles are completely different which makes tactical approaches much more different. Epirus would be fun if you could throttle the Romans early on. Same with the Aeudi.
Let me tell you what Im going to have quite the challenge with the Aeudi if and when we come to blows in my AAR. They own like 30 provinces! Perhaps you should do the Aeudi. If you can maintain an alliance with the Romans and get rid of the Arverni you might have a chance. What are the victory conditions for the Aeudi? Right now Im more concerned about preparing an invasion of Anatolia (asia minor).
Hm....good point. Thanks for your insight.Quote:

Let the invasion begin!
Are you thinking about doing an AAR with one of those? I havent seen an AAR with those
Aedui conditions: Hold Gaul, sack Rome (I think), hold northern Iberia.
The light Marian troops are Antesignani, I use two of them in my legions. They do pack a punch.
Great update!
Ya, I plan on doing an Aedui AAR, but from a different angle.......you'll have to wait and see!
Anyways, good luck on conquering Asia Minor!
Yes thats it Antesignani. I use two as well so that they can sweep around the flanks of the legion and protect the main body from skirmishers/flankers
Is this AAR dead? I hope it isn't, because if it is, I will be very sad. Honestly, there may EVEN be tears. Not to put any pressure on you Chirurgeon, because you are a legend, almost as good as your AAR.
He probably decided to take a little break.
To be fair, the amount he has already done is amazing in such a short time. And with videos on top, something I have never seen in a AAR, he can have 2 years off. So long as he carries on afterwards.
His AAR is truly epic! One of the greats!
Not to worry. Update soon. Probably get to it tonight :) Oh and thanks for the continued support. It is definetely not dead :)
Hurray! It's still alive! I had begun to worry this AAR had died.
Great to know another update is coming up.:2thumbsup:
I meant to post yesterday but im getting an interesting CTD. It happens after the battle is over and getting ready to return to the campaign screen when suddenly the game crashes. Its happened to me before but now it happened three times in a row. When I play it out by hand I smash em. When I autoresolve i suffer a crushing defeat. Im going to try withdrawing and then fight again but If you withdraw your general gets the "craven coward" trait. What to do...
Sorry to suggest this, but using the auto_win attacker/defender cheat seems like what you should do. I mean, we're almost sure that you're going to win anyway.
If you remember how many casualties you suffered, you can withdraw part of the army, and let the general and some units auto_win.
That way the casualties are probably quite similar.
Great to see this still alive!!!!
Good luck with that ctd....
I will be in california till july 3rd and will have an update upon my return. Thank you for your continued support :)
Safe travels and safe returns. Can't wait for the next update!
Safe travels!
Have fun and stay safe!
Yep, all they said. May your next update be as good as the other ones! (Not that I doubt anything, but California...)
Anyway, safe travel!
Ok im back in town and will have an update relatively soon. Ive been itching to play :)
how was it in California and hope to see a great chapter soon
Welcome back!!!
How was the trip?
And when do we have an next update? :clown: Cant wait for it...
Yeah man tell us about the trip. And updates :whip:
Especially the updates. The AAR section of the EB forums hasn't been the same without these updates...
Thank you all for the continued support....Im hoping for an update tomorrow afternoon.
@ Chirurgeon To answer your question about the historical accuracy of your campaign, take a look at this map:
http://www.roman-empire.net/maps/emp...e-100bc-01.jpg
This is the Roman Republic in 100 BCE......it seems you've outpaced those pathetic Roman Generals! :balloon2:
Chapter XV - Foothold in Anatolia
Beginning in 153 BC the Republic would go on the offensive in Anatolia(modern Turkey) and continue to press the Macedonians. The pace of expansion compared with the expansions in the Aegean, Moesia, and Thracia would be much slower. Hampered by distance it would take a longer period of time for armies to arrive and be deployed. P Scipio and A. Macrobius would maneuver the legions and capture several important cities including Ipsos and Nicomedia. A second legion was marching along the Black sea and capturing territory there. It was slow going as the Macedonians had employed huge garrisons. Relief armies were sent time and time again to engage the Romans only to be handily beaten. Again the professional soldiers of Rome were superior to the conscripts the Macedonians were fielding.
Macedonian territory north of the Danube could not help the beleagured cities in Anatolia. Having blocked the movements of the Macedonians and having a superior fleet in the Black sea the Macedonian territory in Asia minor would not receive help. Several large scale battles were fought and the legions versus the phalynx again showed the superior flexibility of the Roman formation.

By 143 BC P. Scipio was renamed Publius Cornelius Macedonicus:
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...tum/XV-XVI.jpg
His success against the Macedonians showed that he was almost as successful as Oppius Crispus Macedonicus. However great P. Scipio would be, the capture of the Aegean peninsula would always have a stronger symbolism and hence tower over his own achievements.
Upon the death of the great Gnaeus Germanicus, P. Scipio was nominated, and subseqeuently approved, as the new Princeps Senatus.
https://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h...um/XV-XIII.jpg
Historians would comment that P. Scipio could have easily been a dictator but his ambitions lay with defeating the enemies of Rome...not Rome herself.
Deploying native troops particulary Thracian Skirmishers in front of the legion proved to be a successful tactic. P. Scipio often charged the enemy before their formations were perfect and with phalynx units it took much longer to line up in formation than the legions. The auxilaries fought bravely and the enemy was "softened" before the cohorts would engage. It also preseverved the cohorts, as they had to be trained from a distant location. The Southern Aegean was now a major supplier of the famed Roman infantry. Thracian cavalry was being organized into an auxillary cavalry, that would prove itself in future conflicts.
The progress of the Romans in Asia Minor did not go unnoticed. The great power of the East the Selucids, now had territory adjacent to Roman lands and conflict would be inevitable. The simmering conflict in Africa would boil over in Anatolia. The Ancient strength of Alexander would square off with the Relentless tide of red and silver. The course of conflict with the Macedonians had nearly run its course, and the Republic would face its hardest challenge.
By 143 the territory of the Romans officially reached into Asia. Holding that territory would prove more daunting than capturing it.

Enjoy the Update...again with vacation I had an 11 day break :) Basically i went to a Sports Medicine conference in LA. Hung out at Laguna Beach and Malibu...saw Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Drove up to Sacramento to see my brother and we went mountain biking and a day trip to Lake Tahoe. We were on the North side of the Lake and did not see the fire damage on the south side. What a beautiful spot! You absolutely should go see Lake Tahoe. Its 1600 feet deep! Its beauty is unparalled in my opinion. Drove back to LA a day early and did some wine country in San Luis Obisbo and Paso Robles. Overall a great trip except for the LA traffic.
@Owen: I could not see the map...maybe a bad link?
Nice update as always!
As for a map, Chirurgeon, you can just check out wikipedia.
Wow that was fast Horus i just posted the update like 10 minutes ago!!
Yeah, well, I was checking my e-mail and I thought "Why not check the Org?". Then, as I see on the forums main page that you'd made a post in this thread, I thought "An Update!!! GREAT!"
And that was that.
Actually, for a map check this out : Ancient Rome article of wikipedia.
Wow thats a really cool time lapse of Roman Territory! I might make a timelapse of my territorial gains as a slide show or something. Oh well one thing at a time right?
@ Warmaster Horus Wow, that map kicks the one I posted......to-shay...
Hurray for Marian Reforms!
Yay, cool update!!!!
:2thumbsup:
well things are heating up in my campaign...updates are long in coming due to the number of battles and time it takes to coordinate things. I have 1/3 of Anatolia under my control but the Selucids are sending wave after wave to attack me. Apparently they want to control anatolia also...Ill have an update in a few days
Meet the Grey Death, friend. As an opener, could you post the current map, with FoW off? That will permit us to cringe in anticipation of the many, endless battles against the Grey Death.
(shivers).....Seleukids......ggghhh...
Did you try a modified money script? Without that :skull:.
i was on the verge of abandoning the whole campaign because the site was down...no one told me they changed their address!! I will start again in earnest...what does this money script do?
