When the options are over...for CA

I actually think that it would be pretty cool to do something on ancient China. You could do it before the dynaties, with you controlling one of the warlords and your objective would be to unite China and become the new dynasty

I Like the WWI to modern day iead. It could be called "W:Total War"

Caveman TW - Pawn the caves, own the hill! Be the king of the hill adn...err... own more caves!

Homeless TW - Homeless Bums/Ignorant Masses <- act like Barbarian Hordes in RTW:BI ?????

Arthur TW - that sounds pretty cool actually. I would be in heaven if they actually make it. While it is tempting to have fancy units, i'd prefer to stick to the Bernard Cornwell version of the Warlord Arthur. So, no fancy knights in silver armour and ladies lingerie on top of their helmets.

Shogun - beside being the original. Shogun has lots of potential. According to various internet sources, military casualties alone are over 250,000. its the real total war, with most of korea devastated, china financially collasped and japan ruling shogun(kind of) of Hideyoshi weakened. Jurchen(Manchu) from the north and Japanese pirates everywhere. Death rules the kingdom, and War is having a field day.

Early Civilisation TW? Egypt, Assyrian, Babies (Babylonian) etc empires. The more sensitive would be the Isreali... CA might not be able to withstood too many curses by disgruntled Rabbis...

They still have while to go with the TW series as yet. So I doubt that they would ever run out of ideas or things to do.

There have been some mods, but how about:
Napoleonic: Total War
Illiad: Total War (kinda like the 300 idea, but with Egipt, Syria, and maybe thow in some mythology units: Athena, Zeus, Aphrodite... )

Iiliad is a bit of a myth - some author even believes that it is in England (Celts), which is reasonable because simply, Celts do have the numbers (Greece was only more populated AFTER the the story), loves their chariots to boots and all the XXXX places in Greece/Turkey just don't fit! too much argument, imho, so best to avoid it.

however, Napoleanic Invasion as an ETW expansion will be more than reasonable. I am hoping that they will cover several mini campaigns -

India Campaign
Napolean Campaign(of course)
Nth/Mid American Campaign (French, British, American, Spanish)
Great Northern War Campaign (not sure - i might have been too late)

remember good old Master of Magic? if CA decided to go into fantasy, and do it properly, they will find alot of Master-of-Magic fans.

me too. hence i keep mentioning Shogun 2 - Korean (Total) War.

for me,i rather CA make the Genghis Khan:totalwar,the map will be from japan to europe(including japan,china,india,middle east,europe and africa),just like the "Genghis Khan"series of KOEI

and add the feature of building new cities as we wishes.....,this feature enable player to build a new city with any resources surrounding it...sounds like Civilization.....


i think i smell the taste of "Imperialism 2:Age of Exploration" in the "Empire:TotalWar".....hmmmm....

campaign map ,diplomacy and resources management of Imperialism 2 mix up with battle of Total War style will be great..........
