This relentless and all reaching advertising is getting to me, problem is, my time will be really quite limited, and I feel I'd be letting you guys down to sign up then not contribute much.

Edit:
Andres, all we do Day 1 is elect the Lynching Director. You'll have to murder Myrrdraal on Night 1 or Lynch him on Day 2.
I was sure they had received one, but i dont think there is any harm in asking again and again and again, until they are too tired saying no.~;)Quote:

What the heck, I haven't spent much time at the Org recently, but I guess I'll join.
I gotta warn you though that I most likely won't be active at all until after January 26th
Should begin in February, so don't worry XD.
Great to see so many signed up! This is going to be mind-blowing!
Hihi! I'm "so" in, as long as a newbie like me will have a chance of "understanding" the game..!
OK, I succumb... *takes a deep breath*
In.
PS, nice to see WoT fans out there
I have read the rules, and the entire thread of Mafia VI - by god I want to start!
When do you plan to begin sah?
Is there a certain date or do you plan to wait until you have your century to begin with?
I will do everything I can to advertise - starting now!
The beginning of February he said
I do not have great confidence in one hundred players participating - I have read Capo de Tutti Capi, and it seems that many players were simply inactive, "Cannon Fodder", for the most part.
A good 20 of the players were, so how many of these will exist in a game of 100? Especially if this game is delayed for any length.
It is true, I have announced the arrival of the Devil himself, but I hope we do not place so many people upon this ship that it will sink under pressure..
All right, fine, I'm in.
One last time.
No more mafia for you, GH? I wanted you in my game...:bigcry:Quote:

I think that in general, having more players reduces the impact that the inactive ones have, since even if 30 or so out of 100 are inactive, you still have 70 active players. If Seamus implements anything like standard WoG rules, the inactive ones should be pared down to manageable numbers.Quote:

Welcome back. :bow:Quote:

Well you can usually skip a lot of them. ~;)Quote:

Inactives were weeded out fairly quickly and either requested removal after a PM prompt by me or met with an unfortunate "accident." I even wogged one bloke by having him switched into the line of fire in place of one player who had been successfully protected -- I rather liked that one.
I have lengthened the first few phases in response to many of the comments last time through. Apparently it is the first few phases -- as groups begin to form and make plans etc. -- that take the greatest "off-screen" time. With the slightly longer opening phases, this should come off a notch smoother even with more numbers at play.
If you find the problem of too many posts to read, simply set Ichigo to ignore. 40% of the thread is gone!
Actually you'll have to put me, Ichigo, and TS on ignore to get rid of even 20% of the posts if the last game predicts this one...Quote:

Same. I was holding out until the start of the game. I think we can name Sasaki as round 1 lynch.
Yeah, because that'll certainly shut him up, as it has always done in the past. :rolleyes2:Quote:

Roles go out randomly anyway.
If you insist on lynching Sasaki Day Two -- your first opportunity -- you can do so but....sheesh. Can't we let him get a couple of hours logged on the gameroom again before the death threats go out?
:laugh4: :laugh4:
Yes, you should at least give me the oppurtunity to post my role pm before lynching me.Quote:

Patience you must have...
We also havent recruited the minimum number of players yet, so maybe we all need to increase our ever-so-subtle marketing campaigns. ~:)
I will launch one right now in one of the less heavily guarded areas of the forum.
Hey! Sign me up and count me interested!
I'd like to give this a whirl.
In :)
INtergration of all INvolved is an INtegral part of an INdependant and functioning..... umm IN IN IN IN
ok ok, I'll join! don't hurt me, please!!
I return!
And is there still room?
Alright, I'm in if there's still space.
The Knights Who Say In. xD
I hope that was irony. :wink:Quote:
Alright, I'm in if there's still space.
We have our 75 players.
All 5 families will be active. That means 5 Dons and their attendent Mades & Lucas dueling for control, 3 Doctors, 3 Detectives, the FBI detective and at least 2 "Other" roles as well as the host of Wiseguys and Townies...
I shudder for Fatlington. :devilish:
Keep recruiting the fun of this story only increases as the cast gets larger.
Ciao!, e Grazie.
I will see that we wont make it further than round 3.
6:69 at the moment.Quote:

Look CA, I appreciate the effort, but...if I might suggest...it would have been a little less harsh on your liver if this "off-site forum" WASN'T your local pub.Quote:

You would miss the Day 1, Night 1, and Day 2 phases. With Capo I as a guide, this would suggest that few decisive events will occur on day or night 1, and that Day 2 is hard to predict [1st lynch] unless some mafioso has gaffed.
While events may not have progressed far, team building will almost certainly have begun.
If you have at least limited access, especially for PM purposes, that may suffice, but skipping the initial phases entirely could leave you "odd one out."
Of course, that might be an advantage....
I just checked and it seems I will have internet access, so ignore my query.
I can't wait for this game. I want to have a role.
Tincow, you're now added in.
Caius:
EVERY player has a role -- by definition. Sorry, couldn't resist. :devilish:
Remember though, if you start as a townie, there is no need for you to finish as one. YOU can control your fate with a little luck and some good play.
In Capo-I, we had two townies promoted to Doctor, 1 townie who made it all the way up to Made Gangster, and one unattached WiseGuy who ended up as a Don of one of the mafia families!
And, of course, let's not forget the glorious example of our mod, Andres, who IIRC wasn't even playing and got a role.
Yeah, you can even get lynched when you're not playing :wall: :laugh4:Quote:

Soon indeed. 4 Feb is almost upon us. I'm finalizing role sheets and preparing for a massive slate of PM's. No roles have been selected as yet and will be assigned randomly on the 4th, but I'm getting them prepared for mailing.
I'm sorry Seamus, I'm afraid I have to withdraw myself :(
In.
Dibs Lurker Victory. :2thumbsup:
Heh, that happened to me in Sapi's nameless mafia. Good times.Quote:
