Fraps is good and it is free. The thing is that the free version of Fraps will save the pictures in .bmp and not .jpg although this is not that big of a problem.

If you want units retrained, as I noticed from your SOT post, you must send them to a retraining center. So, if you send your Greek units to Antiocheia, and your eastern units to Edessa, I can retrain them for you. If you want me to move them, you have to give me permission to move them in your SOT post, as they are under your direct control. I don't want to assume that I can just take anyone's units to retrain them (even if retraining is asked for), since people have different ideas in what is appropriate for another person to do with "their" stuff. I don't read minds folks, so if you want me to take it upon myself to move your units for retraining, just put it in your SOT post. I check the SOT before I take the save every time, so you can be sure that anything posted there will be seen.
Actually, those units, left overs from the Liberation Armies, do not belong to Timarchos. Basileus can take them away from him or disband them anytime he wishes to do so(except those 2 units of his Personal Army). At the moment, it's better if Timmy can lead them and kill some Egyptians.

He can ask them to be retrained but if I say in my SOT that you can't then .. you can't.
Until I haven't say something otherwise he can lead those units. It's the same as giving units from a towns garrison - you can use them as long as the Basileus allows you.

So...should I auto-resolve the battle you have loaded? I can't end the turn until that is resolved.
Adamantarius, according to your SOT post I'll have to auto-resolve that battle, I'll see if I can withdraw you first. If you live, I'll send you to Damaskos, if I-K doesn't get to it before me.

EDIT: I could maybe engage the army near Sidon next turn to relieve the town but of course that would draw the garrison into the fight (including Timarchos and his units) What am I to do in this case?

You simply fight the battle like you would any other battle. The commander of the stack attacking/being attacked is the one who fights it.

No, as long as you don't minimise by clicking the X, if you instead click the small box, the scroll should disappear and the "message box" should turn grey, and it can be opened by anyone who needs to do anything with that.Quote:

I just got a pm from Hax, and he said he can adopt him. So it's ok to accept. You know that you can get the scroll out of the way by clicking on the small square at the top right corner of the scroll, it should minimize down to a grayed out message tile. But if that doesn't work, go ahead and accept.
I expect Swissbarbar has received the full orders from Celtic Punk, so don't go moving the whole Syrian Army to Sinope

i did not move anything because the MotH had to be accepted/denied first. i had intention to move his character, because he wrote "somebody please..." and i was incidentally here. If anyone wishes to move Celtics Avatar feel free to do that in the way he wishes to.

Quick question, will a "choose your ally" request survive a save and reload? Perhaps we should discuss whether we keep a Pahlava alliance or go with Baktria... I'd choose Baktria myself.
