That's right, I am going to spam my own thread. *ducks to avoid moderator action*

The Golden Rule mafia game is set to begin once one of the current small games is finished. I'm next in line.

This is not your usual Simpsons/Futurama themed Askthepizzaguy game, and there will be no roleplaying. You will all be yourselves, and the winner of the game is guaranteed to get all the gold in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which holds more gold bullion than Fort Knox.

This game is a small game not based on any television show or movie, and there aren't any characters. Everyone who joins will be playing themselves. Before you hit the snooze button, let me assure you this is not going to be a boring game.

Several players are involved in a conspiracy to hijack a shipment of gold bars heading from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to various nations around the globe.

This shipment was hijacked by a group of conspirators, and their objective is to survive and escape from the country with the gold. However, there are others trying to stop them from making off with the money, and there is at least one traitor within the group who wants to kill off the others and keep all the gold for himself.

You DON'T want to miss this game.

As you might expect, there's more to this mafia than meets the eye. It wouldn't be an Askthepizzaguy game without a decent twist.

The town huddled inside the Springfield Hospital for their final stand.

The Hibbert zombie approached Burns... but Burns lifted his frail little arms and pulled the trigger of his shotgun, hands trembling, not even aiming... the noise frightened the zombie away.

Burns apparently has some anti-zombie skills.

The Frink zombie scrambles forward and bites Apu on the foot, and the Hindu screams in pain and terror. Not willing to become a zombie, the brilliant Hindu blasts the zombie in the face and takes half of his leg with it.

The zombie, badly hurt, scrambles off, and Apu is left bleeding badly. There happens to be a blowtorch in the room, and Apu used it to burn the wound until it stopped bleeding, thus preventing him from bleeding to death. He would still need a doctor, and soon, but at least he wasn't dying and he wasn't a zombie.

Apu has 0 lives remaining.

Finally, the last of the zombies broke through the barricade and advanced.
Krusty the clown and Monty Burns lifted their shotguns and pointed them at the advancing zombies, and both the Hibbert zombie and the Frink zombie were granted their eternal reward.

The town stood in shock, and everyone began to celebrate. The Springfield Mafia were dead, and all the serial killers had been eliminated. The zombies had all been destroyed.

Then, Apu lifted his weapon and aimed it at Reverend Lovejoy, and blasted the pesky priest's pious little head clean off his shoulders.

Final Chapter

Groundskeeper Willie and Comic Book Guy turned and looked at their fellow Springfieldians, who had just rescued them from certain and imminent death at the hands of the undead; their allies who had destroyed Mafia and Murderer alike, and saw three men in Dark Red robes, each bearing the symbol of the Stonecutters.

The three Stonecutters looked at the obese Comic Book Guy and the drunken Scotsman, nodded to one another, and lifted their shotguns.

"Wait one second! I do not understand why you three are turning on us after all we have been through." said Comic Book Guy.

Willie spoke up: "Ach, these wee Stonecutters are a bunch of seedless grapes, minus the grapes. They wouldn't know honor or dignity if it mowed their lawns for them and unclogged their toilets after Burritofest. But I'm not going down without a fight like some cheese-eatin' surrender monkey! It's Willie's time to shine!"

Willie lifted his pitchfork and charged directly at Monty Burns and Apu, shouting vile curses in his Scottish dialect. Krusty the Clown blasted Willie's body to the floor, and the Scotsman spat blood and swore as he died.

Comic Book Guy looked at the Stonecutters and said with disgust "Worst ending ever!", and began firing his phaser at the trio. But the tub of lard was too slow and too fat, and the trio began blasting him with their shotguns. He fell to the ground.

You are Mayor "Diamond Joe" Quimby. Your alignment is Mafia.

The role of Mayor Quimby is the corrupt town mayor with mafia ties. To everyone, your alignment will be town, except for a certain investigator. You will vote with town, and your special ability will be the ability to Vote Twice.

Your vote will be counted double in the tally. Obviously you want to use this ability to destroy town.

You do not get to kill anyone, unless one or both of your mafia allies drop dead.

Smowz and Rhyfelwyr are your Mafia Allies. Smowz is Snake jailbird, pretending to be Otto Mann, and Rhyfelwyr is Fat Tony, pretending to be Barney Gumble.

Those are their alignments, identities, and secret identities. Work together, because mafia is greatly outnumbered and surrounded by serial killers, zombies, and other bad guys.

These incredibly violent and homocidal characters have come to life... they aren't cartoons anymore, but deranged, escaped malfunctioning robots from the Itchy and Scratchyland amusement park.

If you guys enjoyed this game, then you may want to think about joining the sequel.

As you saw from the game outcome and the role PM's, the game is amazingly balanced and the outcome is very unpredictable.

This game would be fun, with only slight modifications to the roles, it would be a viable sequel, don't you think? I would have to randomize some of the guilty parties, of course, to keep you on your toes.

Don't miss out on my Golden Rule mafia game, which should be starting soon (within a few weeks I guess). It's the only mafia game left which will hold you guys over until I can finally get another large game going. (Quite the line has formed).

If it's a success, I will probably do another Futurama themed mafia game. Input welcome, pm me.

It's funny the kind of foresight I was able to come up with for the plot twists...

I for one did not know if Dr. Nick Riviera would live long enough to try to revive anyone, and if anyone got revived as a zombie, whether or not there would be enough townies left with anti-zombie abilities to prevent a total zombie victory. There was a chance there would be no zombies at all.

I also did not know if town would defeat all the serial killers and mafia, which meant there might have been no such thing as the Stonecutters turning their back on town to seize power for themselves. I calculated that if town did indeed destroy the other baddies, the game would be almost over.

I gave the town 2 reviving characters, a townie group which knew each other was innocent, a secondary "townie" group which knew others were innocent, defenders, roleblockers, 2 investigators, Anti-zombies, Anti-mafias, Anti-serial killers, Anti-murders, and all sorts of tricks and surprises. They even had anti-aliens and anti-Itchy and Scratchys.

I gave the Mafia the power to resist and eliminate zombies, provided they used a gun, and the ability to affect the tally. Unfortunately NorthNovas didn't vote during at least one tally, and none of the others were close enough for it to have an impact.

I had 4 serial killers, giving the game a reasonable chance of there being a serial killer victory. Imagine that!

Sideshow Bob was nearly indestructible. Look at his role pm... nothing harms or blocks this guy.

I gave all the bad guys dual identities except for Mayor Quimby, whose ability to have two votes would make him seem like a townie anyway.

I gave the Stonecutters the ability to murder anyone provided they and town were the only living factions remaining. Otherwise they would be counted as town.

All in all, a very complex game, I think. You could play this exact game again, with the roles randomly tossed out there, and minor tweaks to make it less predictable, and I bet you would have just as much fun. I'm keeping this overall formula for the next Simpsons Mafia game, which I am giving the working title:

Full Monty Episode II: Treehouse of Horror

Very awesome game, ATPG. Indeed, it was very well planned out, and at times I felt like it could've been anyone's game, and I really enjoyed it. Partly because I won (well.. second place) too! :clown:

I did feel, though, that the Stonecutters had something of an advantage over the other anti-town roles because they were technically innocent until all the others were defeated. It is balanced so that the Stonecutters can be killed by the other mafia easily, but at the same time, if all the mafia are gone, the Stonecutters are nearly assured victory with their max. 5 kills per night if all survive- maybe you should lower that. Also, I hope you don't mind if I borrow some elements for my game... which will be sometime in late 2009 at this rate. :laugh4:

Before seeing all of the role PMs (which is actually indeed pretty balanced), kind of thought that the town was at a large disadvantage too.
I thought the disguised Stonecutters won't be able to show our true colors due to the amount of killers that needed to be dealt w/ as 'town' first. Even in the end, I thought all remaining factions (town, neo-mafia, zombies) could get a way w/ the 'v' (big 'V' goes to Fenring').
It took a no lynch on Day 8 and surviving the following zombie attacks (lost a 'leg,' my last extra life, though:sweatdrop:) to seal the deal for us.

Town did a very good and efficient job this game, catching all 4 anti-town roles, and the zombies and SK took care of the mafia.

Very complex game indeed, and it so easily could of been anyone's game.

I thought the biggest advantage the stonecutters had were their numbers, 5 members in total. After finding each other we could protect each other from lynches and also make use of other member's ability. Sarathos (Moe) found out Sideshow Bob's secret identy early on and we discussed what to do with it, we planned to use him to our advantage but killed him at the end because he can't be brought under control. After the mafia were elimated I was sure we would go on to win (2nd place)

Excellent game Askthepizzaguy, I'll be looking forward to your next installment of the Simpsons franchise. :yes:

Yes a wonderful Mafia game ATPG congratulations.

It was in danger at growing stale sometimes, but that was due to the players not yourself....

This was my first mafia game, and it was certainly interesting being part of the mafia group. Unfortunately we lost one of our members early. For my part I tried very hard to make it as unobvious as possible as to guess that I was a mafia member. However we seemed to catch the attention with all our night activities of those night dwellers the zombies.

I lived and learned throughout the campaign. I did think of the eventual winners the stonecutters certainly deserved it all of their players were active and played their roles really well I thought and contributed wonderfully to the game.

Personally I would look into this actor role, I recall when Fenring was lynched in the early stages he didn't exactly have to do any acting to get lynched the actor just has to be incredibly lucky!!!

Edit: I noticed after I had contributed towards the lynching of two of the Seriel Killers that a lot of players talk of Town and Anti-Town implying SKs' and Mafia are somewhat allies until the end. I found the SK's more of a threat than the town however as they could kill seemingly at random whereas town could be 'convinced' to vote whichever way one wanted. However having seen the factions that existed in the town I was probably foolish to try that strategy and should have tried to pin the blame on definate townies instead.

I was dead for half the game, brought back to life, revived a zombie killer, and then became a zombie and was killed by the guys I tried to save.

...and I still had a blast.
