Heres the latest dload link. This should work perfectly fine. It also fixes a text file i had misplaced in the older version. Dont worry this wont cause any CTDs or any other form of adverse gameplay occurances.

Don't forget when you mail your savegame.dat tot the next player, to send a cc to Myrddraal (meaning send the file to the next player and Myrddraal simultaneously) and to delete the RTW_ part.

Maybe its the fact that there is no script line at the bottom of the strat.txt...

Allright, back to topic. The show_me_how button disabled. Hmm... Let me think :thinking:

As you may remember reading I have made the complete cycle of factions for a couple of gameturns a week or two ago, and all the scipts for the different factions worked (beside some minor issues with Germania, Seleucids and Scythia as I posted before, see https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showp...&postcount=538 ).

Also it shouldn't matter wether advice is turned on or off, since you are the one 'initiating' the help function. I've tried it with mine and it works anyway. (However, it wouldnt hurt either, so...)

The only things I can think of right now are things you probably thought of yourself.
Like:

did you correctly copy the correct 'export_descr_advice.txt' for the Greek_cities to your data folder (and overwriting the old one) ?

and

are the files for the ingame text of the advisor correctly installed? Meaning is the 'MP_campaign' folder correctly placed in your 'show_me' folder ? (so the scripts are in the RTW/data/scripts/show_me/MP_campaign folder)

But like I said, you probably thought of this already. :sad:

Other then that, the only thing I can think of is that when you start a new Imperial Campaign as you probably did, the sequence of play is mixed up. So if you start as the greek_cities, you are the 1st in line to play, not the 11th. (Also you are directly followed by Numidia, not Spain.) Perhaps this interferes with your scripts, although I do not see how. :worried:

All I can say is (as I've said before) I've tried all the factions in sequence (simulating an MP game) and it worked. Hmm...:thinking:

because of the incidence i found out you did a great work only on at the start no more. sorry but i had to say that.

i tried starting an imperial campaign without auto manage and then load the quick load. the results were negetive no effect. :(

so if there is some one ealse pls reply and we could finish this vote without any problem.

* ET - if you started a new campaign without auto manage this might be a bigger problem, because restart might not solve the problem. and since we all send the save game to each other all players will suffer with the auto manage inclueding you in your second turn so if there is no quick solution then we might check the scripts again i really dont want to play with that auto S**T !!!

I'm just an ordinary gamer just as everyone else. I didn't build, mod, script or anything else. I just want to get the game get along.

In contrast to what you are stating, I haven't done sq*#d in the beginning. I haven't been posting here for long (been lurking for about a year). It was only when they needed an extra player when I started to post and help out here and there.

The way you comment it however, is that you depict me as a person who wants, no, even demands 'credits' or 'respect' or whatever from the community. You do not have any grounds for you to say that. I have in no way made ANY statement witch you can use to claim otherwise.

Needless to say I find your remark very insulting.

So I am sorry you feel the way you do, but I think the real reason behind it, is that some people here (myself included) have said things that, all be them being true, respectfull to others and sincere, were simply not to YOUR liking.

And I think you simply can't cope with that.

So I'm sorry, but you are way off my friend.

Also back then I didn't comment on your remark (what appereantly was a question), because even if we DID play short campaign, even then you would have been mistaken. As Britannia my aim would be to outlive Gaul, and not you as Germania. However I didn't want to smash you over the head with even more evidence of the fact that you don't know what you are talking about, since I wanted to keep the peace. Also: "Do it quick" ? Since as you claim E.T. hasn't spend much time on it, you will not either, will you? If E.T.'s moves are of no consequence, then neither will yours, now will they?

However, I'll stop before I'm (rightfully) being acquised of beating a dead horse. So as I stated above, I agree with the fact that we should play without management.

Continuing on that, if we are hesitant about restarting, then perhaps a vote will help. (Although we shouldn't wait to long for everyone to vote, since we have got to keep this game going). But perhaps we should simply consult the people who have already played.

Shifty, E.T., since you have already made your moves, do you mind redoing them? (Shifty for the 3rd time:ahh:)

If you don't mind, then by all means, restart as soon as possible.

And if you do, then E.T. may I suggest you start with:

-Automanage off (so manual on)
-Unit Size: Large (the preferred size by the modcreators if I remember correctly)
-Difficulty: Medium / Medium (since we will be using autocalc etc.)

Isnt it possible to turn off auto manage by hitting escape in a game? If not esc, can't you turn it off in the "manage tab" with the faction graphs.. and economy section. Sorry I don't know where exactly but I could have sworn you can change it there without starting a new campaign. I would recomend against taking a vote since its hard to get people together without a 7 day timespan either, so id say just restart if you cannot manually change it

- i think that medium is too easy i played in all my games in very hard both in campaign and battles. i saw my friend playing once and he had lots of cash and army on the start and then i found out he played on M\M
so i think we should play very hard on the campaign map and maybe hard\medium on the battles since we dont fight them yet our selves.
medium in the campaign make it easy and i am saying that becuase when you are on very hard you care alot to your money and happieness of your people i played for ex : with the julii VH\VH ( julii are easy as well ) and i found myself controlling the whole map except the roman friends which hold 20 proviences
with the love of the people full pluse the sente loved me and i got 5 out of 6 places in the lead of the sente and all most all of my proviences were green and only few where yellow all that before 220 bc and with too much cash.

and once again i am sorry if i hurt anyone specially i am sorry if you were hurt krek ... just in case you get suspicious that maybe i have a mental problem that i have too much opinions dont worry :P
