Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Day 4
The next day passed rather quietly. Many of the crew members did not care to vote, and they were warned by Captain Falcon under the penalty of death that they really ought to do so.
Despite the lack of diversity in debate, by the end of the day there was a tied vote. Captain Falcon tallied the votes and proceeded to announce the result.
“Today, the vote has been stalled at a tie between two IDFH heroes: Ness and Dragonite.”
Both of the IDFH warriors stepped forward. They did not look happy, but they could at least take solace in the fact that their Captain was deciding the outcome. Each one thought that surely Falcon would see he was innocent and spare him.
“Hrmm…”
Captain Falcon scratched his chin and thought for a moment, but quickly came up with an answer.
“Here is my decision. You are both to die today.”
The IDFH crew was shocked, but they could not interfere with their superior officer’s ruling. The GF troopers looked on smugly. Dragonite and Ness were each struck by the decision, and began looking around nervously.
“The most painless way for me to do this is with a Falcon Punch, because your body will be disintegrated instantaneously from its awesome power. It’s also pretty cool looking. Yeah, I think we’re gonna go with that. Dragonite, you’re up first."
Falcon walked up to Dragonite, stretching out his right arm as he did so. When he was in place, he swung his arm back and it began to shake with energy.
“FALCON…”
“SCREEEEEEEEEECHROOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRR!”
The Captain was thrown backward before he could finish his attack. Standing in Dragonite’s place was a massive figure about three times the size.
Meta-Ridley flew into the air and began raining a hail of fireballs at the crew of the Olympus. Many of them ran for cover or attempted to escape the room. Ness, however, was not about to back down.
“PK FLASH!”
A flash of blinding light emanated from Ness, and the giant dragon, disoriented, flew straight into a wall. The little boy with psychic powers began readying himself for another attack.
“PK FIRE!”
A missile of flame shot from Ness’s palms and struck Meta-Ridley in the face, exploding on contact. Now the dragon was enraged, but not seriously injured. He began moving slowly towards Ness, relishing the moment he would get to rend the boy’s flesh in twain.
“PK FREEZE!”
Ness began gathering enough power to launch an icy attack, but it was a slow process, as he had exhausted his energy with the previous attacks. Just as his attack was about to launch, Meta-Ridley lunged forward and snatched him up in his claws, breaking his concentration.
Meta-Ridley now opened his mouth, and an orb of pure energy formed within. He was about to launch his ultimate attack, the Dragon Blast. Soaring up into the air, he threw Ness up even further, and pointed his head upwards.
“ROOOOOOOAR!”
The full-power ray of energy struck Ness in midair, instantly annihilating him. But what was left on the ground when the dust cleared was more interesting. Meta-Ridley had been frozen in an icy casing, and had fallen to the floor, unable to move.
Captain Falcon walked up to the frozen dragon.
“Well, back to business. Time to show you my moves!”
“FALCON…… PAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUNCH!”
Meta-Ridley was shattered into a million tiny, icy pieces. The crew of the Olympus cheered. Sitting in the middle of the room, unconscious, was a face still more remarkable.
Kirby, the hero who attempted to fight the original Council of Villains. He had been eaten by Meta-Ridley after his defeat and, apparently unable to be digested, had been hiding out the dragon’s stomach ever since.
Captain Falcon picked up the little puffball and brought him to the makeshift medical bay set up in the crew quarters. It was unlikely he would awaken before the end of this ordeal.

Yes, I'll say it right here:
You don't have to worry about Kirby in this game. For all intents and purposes, he does not exist.
I just popped him in there so I can use him potentially in a future game...

If other investigators wish to contact me to coordinate our scans better, then please do so  I am the Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess, who belong in the Hero Faction. Therefore, I am an incorruptible townie. I have also been attacked by BOTH the Phazon and Samus in one night. I believe my innocence is pretty much a certainty.

Crap, I really wish people had read and taken their votes off Insanious after what Skooma Addict added to the faults of the case on him, and ESPECIALLY after what Insanious himself said... :wall: Sorry Insanious, I tried. :embarassed:
The Atpg lynch was necessary since we had nobody else really to go on, good job with that.
Lastly, I think this GREAT POST bears repeating about Beskar and the voting block. Leave my prospective partners alone, make real cases on them, not stuff based on this crap.

As promised I am reporting the results of the people who revealed to me.
Beefy did not claim.
Ironside claimed to be a GF marine, nothing special.
pevergreen on the other hand did claim something VERY interesting. He claimed to be a bounty hunter Hero but would not tell me what his power was. I'm quite suspicious of him.
ATTENTION MR. PIKACHU how about we work out a deal with you tonight. If pevergreen is lying then he's Samus mafia. If he's telling the truth he's a townie Hero. Either way you benefit from his death. Can you please zap him tonight with your vuwwy duwwy electric kiss?

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Well was a fun game while it lasted, I really wanted to get corrupted by the phazon... but you guys killed that little escapade rather early. I started with a power, so based on how everyone else talked I was probably one of the stronger town players (not like one of the Hero players, but one of the stronger IDFH / GF platers).
I would of posted more, but every time I did, I apparently looked scummy and people started to put votes on me. When I stopped talking, people stopped voting for me. If I didn't garner 3+ votes with every post I would of been a lot more active...
You guys looked way way way way too much into me posting about the write up, a lot of people thought it was scummy... but all I did was take common video game knowledge (heck you could of even wikipediad cloud to see he has no freezing or lighting attacks) and applied it here.
Heck, I had ice beam as Ness, which Ness has PK Ice. Chaotix is keeping a lot of the roles similar to those that are in the video games...
Edited: Cut out something I just noticed was very wrong...

No, really. I've said lynch Fluffy before, this is just a crap reason. He's trying to divert attention with his sillyness, not video games.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Night 4
The crew of the GFS Olympus was in great spirits by the time the night rolled around. Both the Dark Hunter and Meta-Ridley had been destroyed, and now, there was only the problem of the Hunter to be dealt with. Or so they thought, anyway.
Pikachu had other ideas about the crew and their problems. According to it, they were all problems, and Pikachu was doing its best to solve those problems, one by one.
The little mouse scampered its way through a ventilation duct, making twists and turns through the labyrinth, but never seeming to get lost. Finally, it saw a grating above its head and jumped upwards, popping it open. Its unnatural blue eyes glowed in the darkness of the room.
Inside the room was the IDFH hero Sora, sleeping peacefully with his keyblade under his pillow.
He was probably dreaming about his friends Donald Duck and Goofy, or something equally childish. Pikachu scoffed at this notion, and was prepared to transform those dreams into nightmares.
The sacs on Pikachu’s cheeks, which had turned a bluish color, began to emanate energy. But it was not electricity, as was usual for Pikachu. Instead, a beam of pure ice shot from Pikachu and hit Sora, freezing him solid. The mouse then leapt into the air, did a somersault, and smashed the frozen Sora with his Iron Tail attack.
After letting out a triumphant cry, Pikachu, bounded off into the depths of the ship.
------------------------------------------------
Roll Casket was working in the engine room, trying her best to fix the Olympus’s engines so that they could actually move the ship after they had dealt with the problems on board.
She continued working busily, but all the while she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched. A couple of times she could have sworn she heard a cackle of laughter, but convinced herself she was only hearing things and went back to work. When she saw the shadowy figure with glowing red eyes floating in the air, however, she screamed and started to run. The cackles of the figure behind her grew louder and louder.
“HYUK HYUK HYUK HYUK HYUK!”
Roll kept running until she found herself at a corner. She gasped in despair and didn’t know what to do. The hovering figure taunted her.
“HYUK HYUK HYUK! Looks like this is the end of the line for you, slick!”
“No! Please, don’t hurt me!”
“Oh, I’m not going to hurt you… I’m just going to steal your name and your body, and leave you as a wandering shadow. How’s that sound? HYUK HYUK HYUK!”
The shadowy figure swooped low and shot straight at her. Roll closed her eyes and flinched, but when she opened them, it was not what she feared.
“YEOWTCH! Mind warning me next time you wanna pop up out of nowhere, helmet-hair?”
Captain Falcon stood in front of Roll, protecting her with a force field.
“Well, I’m outta here. I’ll come back for you later… Roll Casket! HYUK HYUK HYUK!”
The shadowy figure melted away into the shadows. Roll looked up to thank the Captain, but he was gone in the blink of an eye as well. She hurried back to her quarters.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
He replied to my PM. He refused to say anything, saying something along the line of him not really knowing who I am. BS, I say. I was attacked by both Samus and Pikachu in a single night. I revealed myself to be the Amaterasu, a Hero. I mean, COME ON. If you can't trust me, who can you trust? It's not as if I am asking for a full reveal or an ability name, I just want to know what people are doing every night.
Edit: Pizza asked him before he died.
-
Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Yeah, that's sketchy. But let's NOT wagon ok, not more than 3 votes anyway. Insanious died because of that.
-
Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
*shrugs* maybe he doesnt trust you to not give the information to someone else? For example if he says he used a shield or other protection ability that is attack specific, say a shield that protects from electricity, you could accidentaly leak that to a mafia who will now know that electricity wont work and will now use a different attack.
-
Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
And why did Samus not attack this phase?
Did somebody roleblock someone?
Or maybe it was that certain somebody, who I specifically told not to move an inch during the night, by the order of Pizzaguy's Last Will and Testament?
.....
By the way, does anyone know whether or not Samus belongs to the Bowser Corruption team?

It makes sense if she does. From what ATPG was saying in thread, it seems like Beskar revealed to him that he knew samus, and if Samus isn't on that team, we've got a third anti-town faction.

That makes sense, thank you Mister pever .
Looking through the updates, it seems as if the Team which used the Red text had two kills, just like the Phazon Corruption had Two Kills until the Dark Hunter died.
But if the Bowser Corruption Team had two kills per night, why did they only use one tonight?

I think roleblokcs in KT were announced, but I'm not sure, so Samus could have just been inactive.

Are hero's power roles or are they just townies that don't have a specific alignment(GF or IDFH)? If that's an obvious answer then I just must be stupid or not paying attention :P

Hero's are pro town roles that need all anti-town forces to die in order to win. Hero's still win even if dead, unlike survivalists. At least that's my understanding of the role. Some have suggested that hero's can't be recruited but I don't know if that is true or not. It would make sense since they belong to their own faction. As far as my vote is concerned, I want to hear Jarema speak before deciding between the two.

Regarding in thread behavior, I haven't seen anything that rubbed me funny. As far as behind the scenes stuff I have no clue.

Rereading pever's posts I get a scummy vibe from them. He's a good lynch. Unless RR comes and says different.

I sense the dark side of the force in this one.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
I remember in the very beginning, I thought pevergreen behaved rather odd.. that is compared to how he behaved in the starwars. There he was so very secure of himself and in his own mind it appeared that every of his moves were perfect.. In this game he was not at all so outspoken and seemed a lot more careful .. I spoke a bit with ATPG about it some days ago, but he thought it was juts because pevergreen had a power role in the starwars game, that he behaved like that, iirc.
anyway I will place my vote on pevergreen for now
Vote: pevergreen

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Looking at the last writeup, I'm not certain anymore that the N1 kill of Reenk was performed by Shadow Peach (Beskar).
Reenk Roink kill (Night 1)
A shadowy figure with red eyes using a chill (cold) attack.
Sasaki Kojiro kill (Night 2)
A woman with red eyes who was burning hot and launched twin fireballs.
Winston Hughes kill (Night 3)
Princess Peach produced fireballs....
Last Night's attack on Roll Casket (Night 4)
"she saw the shadowy figure with glowing red eyes floating in the air"
N2 and N3 have similarities (fireballs).
N1 and N4 also have similarities (shadowy figure, red eyes).
But the N2 writeup also mentioned red eyes.
Anyway, Autolycus wrote that he wasn't convinced Beskar made the two kills (N1 & N2) and I find myself agreeing more with that, after last night.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Here's what I figure to be the case on Jarema, from the game thread:
1455 Pizza asks Jarema to answer his PM, without giving more details.
1458 Frozen in Ice votes for Jarema to pressure him.
1459 Skooma votes for Jarema without giving a reason.
1461 Pizza explain that he got a scan result on Jarema and asked Jarema for clarifications.
1464 Skooma explains that he find Jarema scummy because he voted for ATPG while saying that Insanious was a good lynch choice (this may be an over simplication of Skooma's reasoning).
1534 Choxorn find Jarema scummy, but does not say why.
1550 Seon send an ultimatum to Jarema.
1554 Seon asks Jarema what he was doing at night.
1582 Diamondeye votes Jarema, no reason given.
1583 Beefy votes Jarema, no reason given.
In a nutshell: Pizza got a "scan result" of Jarema on Night 3, asked for clarifications but (I'm guessing) Jarema refused to comply.
Not much of a case. Refusal to answer a question, no matter who asked (SK Pizza or Townie Seon), is not enough to lynch someone, depending on the circumstances. The evidence, in this case, is lacking details.
We need more information, mainly about the scan result. Was it a Thermal Vision or something else?
I'm also interested to hear what Jarema had to say in private, what reasons he gave when he refused to answer. Above all, I'd like to hear Jarema in the game thread.

A dead confirmed pro-town, attempting to organise the town, acts differently to a townie?
Egads man!

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
I'm sure Beskar and TinCow would like us to believe recruitment is possible, worrying about it all the time, but we have yet to see evidence of it. From my point of view, recruiting would be too easy if each mafia team could recruit in their respective pool (Bowsers-GF and Phazon-IDFH). If it's possible, there has to be mechanics to make it harder.
But I can't be bothered with recruiting until I know it's there.
And stay in your coffins, evil peoples! :annoyed:

I'm sure you won't believe me, but since this information makes the town's life harder I am more than happy to give it out. Recruitment is most certainly not confined to our respective pools. Sasaki's death made me a sad panda.

I think we need to call Ghostbusters to get rid of that one.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
@Autolycus
In your last post about Frozen in Ice, you said that he was probably not scum because you assumed that he was Amaterasu. How are your suspicions of him, now that you know Seon is Amaterasu, and not Frozen in Ice?
I've been giving a lot of credit to your prior post saying that you were fairly certain that Frozen was scum, but it seems your suspicions have been receding since. Let's clear this up once and for all. You need to clarify if this is something concrete, or more like a hunch.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
I know who Frozen in Ice is. I heard he has a mean paunch.
-
Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Hmm, okay Beskar. Thanks for your great insight. You are very helpful, as usual.:laugh4:
@Seon
Since everyone knows that you are a Thermal Vision scanner, would you care to reveal what were your scans so far?
I can see why you would not want to reveal some, if a player was active and you have good reasons to believe he is Town, but maybe you can tell us who was scanned as doing nothing? This way it would help us figure who cannot be Pikachu and Samus.

I feel more concrete on him than yaropolk is on pevergreen. I thought Atpg said he asked someone to check Frozen out the night of the Amaterasu siege. I haven't seen anything about the result, so if that happened, someone else has better data than me. But I'm pretty confident.

I would like to point out that I have not lied about anything since I died. I certainly only give out information when I believe doing so aids my team, but the information is accurate. A review of my disclosures will certainly substantiate this.

If that is true, you should talk with me more. I am sure we can come to some mutual arrangement.

I will certainly consider everything you have to say. However, I am unaware of any truly useful information that can be shared publicly without it compromising one or both of our groups. Regarding who can be recruited, surely you know more about this now than I do.
