Damn. I was travelling during the first 12 hours of the day phase and actually made a post with a vote but due to the bad connection I was on it seems to not have gone through. Since then I've been without internet access except for an hour on Saturday when I made that last post. :shame: sorry to have let you down town but you kind of deserve it after a wagon like that.
DAY EIGHT
Cap'n Askvaard Von Pizzaguy was about to make another poor soul walk the plank, when all of a sudden the Pirate ship vanished, and was replaced with.... floating blocks in the sky? Pipes?
A strange melody began to play.
Cap'n Askvaard suddenly felt a large, fluffy mustache on his face, and his legs felt stronger than they'd ever been.
Edse waddled up to him, looking rather short and rotund.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "Mama mia! I think-a you be one of Tatanga's men. Let's see if-a I jump on-a you and you go all a-squishy!"
Edse said nothing, and continued waddling toward him as if unaware of the danger.
When Von Marioguy stomped him completely flat, spraying guts everywhere, he made a bizarre "ribbit" sound effect that just didn't seem quite right, even if it was somehow so familiar.
Just then, the flattened guts exploded in a shower of sparks. It seems that this Chibibo was actually a mecha-chibibo known as erik. So, he was called mechaerik.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "I see that night comes quickly in-a Sarasaland!"
BEGIN NIGHT EIGHT
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "Wait, it's not night, I'm-a just underground. That means there's supposed to-a be different background music."
Hey, this seems more rockin' than the original. Nifty.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "Excellent! I see a fire flower up there. I'm becomin' Fire Mario!"
He grabs the flower, and prepares to fire at his enemies. With fire.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "Hey look. Here comes-a choxorn. Well mister Choxorn, believe it or not, you still gonna burn!"
Marioguy hurls a ball at choxorn, but it bounces off the floor and then the ceiling. It's also not even made of fire, but some kind of rubber.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "What the hell is-a this? Super balls? That's not even right. Well I'll kill mister Choxorn the koopa troopa the old fashioned way."
Marioguy jumps high in the air, and stomps on choxorn the nobokon, causing the familiar ribbit sound. Only the nokobon's shell is left.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "All in a day's work. Nothing can-a possibly go wrong now!"
Suddenly, the nokobon's shell explodes, causing Marioguy to shrink and lose his balls of immense power.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "Mama mia!"
Up ahead, there's a great big lion-looking thing, breathing fire.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "Oh boy! That Gao sure is a fluffy one!"
Out of nowhere, a gigantic rock that looks like an Easter island statue.... with arms, but no legs.... runs through the cavern, causing massive destruction and crushing everything in its path. Just in the nick of time, Marioguy jumps into a bottomless pit.
The giant Tokotoko crushed TheFluffyOne, causing the Gao to breathe fire no more.
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "Well, I'mma plummeting to my death in a bottomless pit. At least things can't get any a-worse!"
The giant Tokotoko spots Marioguy in the bottomless pit and charges in after him, black shades and all. He begins chomping his jaws as if he is very, very hungry....
Askvaard Von Marioguy: "Oh no! Isn't it Luigi-guy's turn yet? Let him a-play for a little while!!!"
CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP
Mister Fluffums watched all this happen, with a mixture of apathy and disdain. A kumo spider hopped by, and Fluffums pounced, and ate the delicious arachnid.

Mafia is in the lurkers, and possibly so is our SK. Look at the lurking players that all of a sudden posted after Pizza made the rule of double votes on non-voters. Or the ones that didn't even flinch because they are so under the radar that they feel they didn't have to. Who in that list really hasn't had any pressure all game long. C'mon town think.
My top list of these players are;
Skooma Addict- this is not his typical play, he is not usually this lurky, and vet enough not to flinch since he's been under the radar all game.
Double A- he does seem to always start off active, then go away and lurk, then come back every 3 phases or so as not to get wog'd. But at times he may not post but does his night actions. Could be mafia or our SK IMHO.
The King- lurker then after Pizza new double vote rule, he's back again.
Southern King- another lurker, but not as high on my list, but can't rule him out either.
Here are some of my picks, or do some checking and find your own. But I really think you'll find mafia in the lurkers.

Diana, I wouldn't buy too much into SouthernKing being inactive. He is known on CFC for being very inactive. And he has voting patterns that make Gong 4 teh Cello's look sane. I wouldn't rule him out for being scum, but just because he is a inactive it doesn't mean that he is.
I would say we start with Skooma. Vote: Skooma Addict.

After a very long time with limited discussion, and even more limited votes, Double A was slain.
The game moderator was not amused by the inactivity, and is even more certain that doubling the power of votes on inactives is the correct decision.

I've been unable to log in these past few days so never noticed the outages.
NIGHT NINE
Askvaard Vonna Bethe Guy donned his magical cape and double-jumped over a sea of sharp spikes. He fired his little gun and its seemingly endless supply of bullets that never needed reloading.
He fired them because he can. It couldn't hurt.
It was worth a shot.
Suddenly, the Kid AKA Askvaard Vonna Bethe Guy came upon a grove of apple trees.
The Kid: "At least that sea of spikes is over!"
But an apple landed on his head and killed him instantly. You see, the apples are actually gigantic apples and weigh 700 pounds apiece.

The Kid: "I'm not going to let a little thing like being dead stop me from being The Guy!"
The Kid continued onward, and dodged a bunch of other apples. One was low enough to jump over.
As he jumped over the apple, it fell upward and killed him instantly.

And so the Kid wandered back into the forest with the apples. And he was killed approximately 7,025 more times by apples before getting to the first save point.

Everyone should go back and read Beefy's posts. Then you should come back and vote for him. His votes on ATPG don't make sense to me at all. He says it isn't a "wise plan, just yet."

I don't see what could have changed his mind. It doesn't really make sense to me.
He also said that because Zaccino was scum and made a case against him there were likely mafia voting with him. That just seems scummy to me. There are more oddities that other people may find, but overall I'd say Beefy is the scummiest player still alive.
