I don't have an army near Hamburg. I had one that was besieging the Danish capital and it was surrounded with forts. Not that it was very big...

jerusalem is at about 90 percent catholic. theres a cardinal in the area now so its just another 4 to 5 seasons before its over. at least i doubt 4 to 5 seasons is enough for u guys to have a major comeback so yea its basically over. i think thats a bit too early on already things really took off now. if we start this again we best off with 300 stead of just 100 total to score. its more fun like that. also was good if we d ban crusades and jihads then. they both just too strong a tool specially jihads. and stead of just jerusalem baghdad and paris best are both essential cities then. thats at least how i see that

The AI has it easy to get a city to 100% but iit's not so easy for humans. I've had about 12 priests near Cordoba, at least 5 Cardinals together with France and Spain and it's still not at 100%.

I rather like the Crusade/Jihad mechanic though you've proven you don't need it to be successful. Can you elaborate on the needed cities?

thats a lot of religious agents u had there. so more seasons then before jersualem is at 100 percent. alright thats okay more fun for the all of us. the special city idea is good its just that instead of just jerusalem as the one major essential city for the east and west one had to hold both paris and baghdad as essential cities to win the next game. jerusalem then is just one more special city as rome or venice is right now

Yep, didn't you notice the cata in the fort in the forest just north of Paris? That's why I was surprised you went ahead and risked sieging it in the first place :P
