Random Thoughts Thread

I'm 20 and I've been unemployed for 3 months and living at home on nothing but 2 minute noodles, eggs and anything that comes in a tin can. I want to get a part time job and, in my spare time, create music and films. This is something I'm really interested in and, although I have the ambition, I'm so cripplingly unmotivated that I feel terrible for getting absolutely nothing done. Couple this with my post-post-modernist self-deprecating attitude toward art (masquerading as perfectionism) and anything that does get done is immediately blasted from existence.

In 3 months time, I'll visit Japan and start filming my first full-length major audio-visual project. I hope to finish and release it by the end of 2014.
Though I'll probably die in 7 years as a talentless hack.

I'm posting this here so I can visit this post again in 3 months and check for any progression. I thought that typing this out like so would maybe draw up motivation. Maybe I should just invest in coffee.

Glass breaks easily. I just found that out the hard way. The whole family was over at my mom's place for my bro's birthday, and we were wrestling around a bit when I accidentally put his head through a window. :P It literally just tapped the window and it shattered. Stupid, brittle old glass. Now I got a project tomorrow before work. lol Mom was steaming.

Got to improve my handwriting. Mine isn't so bad, pretty good actually. But I want to be just as good at it as my grandma is.

Cat is recovering. The guy was seriously sick two days ago and I didn't think he would make it through the night. He did, and took him to the vet. He's fine, just ate something wrong. He is over twenty years old and this is the first time he has been sick. What it is he ate I don't know, he eats my chili con carna when I am not looking and I use a LOT of pepper

It was a joke about your culinary skills Frag! Because your cat got sick after eating your food and the usual joke is like you put weed into brownies and the dog eats it - surely my joke wasn't that bad, right?

Nutella.

I feel like I have been cheated all my life with this stuff. Everytime I heard some one talk about it, they go like "It's erm.. a chocolate spread, and I put it on my toast" or "I eat chocolate sandwich" and you just think "What kind of sickfreak are you? Putting chocolate on those things".

Now, if they said "It tastes of Ferrero Rocher, in a jar, and I have it with Pancakes, Icecream, etc" I would be like "hell, yes, I would want to try that instantly!".

I tried Nutella and I enjoyed it with my pancake, and now I feel a mix of happiness for finding it and anger at all those people who made me steer clear from it.

Awesome, my four year old nephew who is truly incredible smart had a perfect 100% in his first test on how smart he really is. It's rediculous, what 4 year old uses words like balancing and is fascinated by cell-fission and photosynthesis, kid needs microscope.

Coincidentally I just finished half a jar of Nutella. Nothing beats the hazelnut flavour (I'm crazy about hazelnuts).
I also finally got tapatalk after the pop up in this forum suggested it for the hundredth time. Nice app.

My mom is so cute when she's sick. I was asked to come over to do her groceries. I know better than misinterpretating a question from my mother anything other than a direct order, she's quite the character. She was really sorry she was angry at me last saturday I visited her. She really was angry by the way. Had a laugh with her housekeeper who keeps trying to convert me to christianity because I am so nice, and keeps singing psalms.

Every now and again I visit my Org profile page and look at the last 10 visitors. Most visitors aren't surprises, but there are usually one or two that beg the query "What prompted them to visit my page?"

I killed my hand, and whatever was at the recieving end. De facto, dislocated knuckles and 50 shades off purple. I must have been really mean but I don't remember it. I am never mean so someone else must have been, but I don't remember any of it.

I am in love. Thought for a time that i was scarred enough to not to feel anything anymore. Apparently i was wrong and i am happy about it.

Also get some odd things, I somehow just visited Solypsist's page, he hasn't been here for years, how did I end up there? Weird.

Getting tired of going to class, going home and being alone. I don't know whether I need to work on being happy by myself, or work on sacrificing my school work so I can have a social life.

I technically haven't had a friend since junior high. It's easy!

It's too late for me, but you need to get some social stimulus immediately, and then sustain it for the rest of your life.

Yeah, friends are super important. Find some clubs in your area/college/whatever and join. You can make easy friends there.

You could always use online, dating or otherwise, to meet people. That said, the odds are good, but the goods are odd.
