Night 6
Not many crew members of the GFS Olympus were able to sleep that night. They were sick with worry about the dangers of the Hunter and the other new threats, which they had failed to locate. Their commanders, Admiral Dane and Captain Falcon, often seemed just as merciless as the Hunter herself. There were many who were too fearful to fall asleep. And there were others who were awake for their own reasons…
Master Chief had positioned himself in the mess hall.
He stood up all the tables on their sides to provide him with cover, and hid behind one of them. Effectively, he had created himself a battlefield of chest-high walls, one that might have impressed even his buddy Marcus Fenix back at IDFH HQ. He was ready to be holed up here for as long as he had to.
The Chief crouched at one end of the room, back to the wall, as his sniper rifle pointed toward the other end and the door. He was relaxed but vigilant, and he stirred into position when he heard pattering footsteps at the other end. He looked through the darkness, unable to find his target. Every few seconds he would hear the footfalls again, and a few times he even saw a small creature bound from behind one table to another.
Finally, the small creature bounded out right in front of his view.
“Pikachu~!”
Master Chief looked through his sniper lens at the adorable creature mewling at him, and was nearly reduced to dropping and running up to cuddle it. Then he saw the glowing blue eyes, decided against it, and fired.
With lightning-fast agility, the Pikachu sensed the bullet and dodged out of the way. Then it began moving faster than the Chief’s eye could follow, zooming all around the room. Frustrated, he switched to his assault rifle, hoping to hit it with the spread.
But it was not to be so. The Pikachu dashed around him and hopped onto his back, and due to the claustrophobic HUD in Master Chief’s helmet he was unable to turn around quickly enough to stop it.
“Pika…”
Pikachu began glowing with an unholy light.
“CHUUUUUUUUUUU!”
A massive, dark pulse erupted from the rodent’s body, passing straight through Master Chief’s armor and hitting him at his core. The force of the attack sent him flying like a blow from a Gravity Hammer, and he collided with the wall in a satisfying crunch of bones.
The electric mouse giggled as only it could do, and scampered off into the ship.

Roll Casket was wandering the halls of the crew quarters that night.
It looked as if she was looking for someone, but she didn’t know who or where it would be. After walking the corridors for a long while, she finally stopped. The door she stood before intrigued her for some reason. Mustering her courage, she opened it slightly and peeked inside.
At the far end of the room, with its back to her, was a being wearing bright orange armor. Roll stifled a gasp, but remained mesmerized. She began to slowly open the door until it was only half closed.
The Hunter had not noticed her, but seemed to be preoccupied with something in her Visor. Roll continued to study her closely. Finally, deciding she had seen enough, she began to slowly close the door in order to leave. But when it was almost closed, the hinges of the steel door let out a loud, squeaking creak that broke the silence.
The Hunter whipped around in a flash, just to see the door close shut. She fired a missile at the door and then barged straight through it, denting it and knocking it off of its hinges. She saw the girl running down the corridor and gave pursuit, charging up a beam in her arm cannon.
As she turned a corner, the Hunter aimed for the girl’s legs and fired. Then she slowed her pace. When she approached Roll, her leg was encased in ice and frozen to the ground. She was in hysterical fear, trying frantically to break free.
The Hunter raised her arm cannon slowly until it was level with Roll’s face. She was so close as to be within reach of Roll’s arms, and noticing this the girl pulled out her wrench and started frantically hitting her with it. The Hunter was unfazed, and allowed her Ice Beam to charge up to its full potential. Then she fired. Roll screamed.

The scream of Roll Casket was loud enough that it roused the nearby Adam Malkovich from his light sleep.
He rushed out into the corridor only to find the body of Roll transformed into something resembling an ice sculpture, and the culprit gone. Not wanting to stick around and end up frozen in ice like the girl, he began to quickly move down the corridors toward the exit of the crew’s quarters section of the ship.
Just as he was about to leave the quarters, a figure in jet-black armor with a glowing red visor blocked his way.
“Commander Malkovich… how strange to see you at this hour of the night.”
Adam recognized the armor, but could not see the face inside. He cautiously put his hand to his gun.
“Identify yourself, soldier.”
“Now, now, Commander. No need for formalities. It’s quite late. You should really be getting back to sleep.”
“I’m not tired. Out of my way, soldier!”
“But Commander… I INSIST!”
The dark figure fired a beam of pure light energy at point-blank range. The searing blast struck Malkovich in the chest and went clear through, incinerating his armor and the flesh in between. He fell backwards to the ground, somehow faintly conscious even with a smoldering crater in his chest. The dark figure stood over him.
“You see, Commander… the Lady? She had an objection.”

Anthony Higgs, patrolling the depths of the ship, heard the screams first and then the gunfire second.
As quickly as he could, he began moving out towards the crew quarters. Through the clanking of his armor, he did not see or hear the glowing orb floating slowly behind him, following him. The orb did not disturb him, however… yet.
When Higgs reached the mutilated body, he grimaced and knelt over it. Opening the visor plate, he was shocked to see who was underneath.
“No! Commander…”
The face of Adam Malkovich was peaceful in death, but obviously had not been so moments prior while he was living. Hefting his mini-gun, Higgs stood back up.
“You will be avenged… I swear it! Samus…”
Upon turning around, he noticed the massive creature that had been lurking behind him all this time.
Were he not weighted down by the gun and armor, he would have jumped from the shock. He reacted quickly, firing up the mini-gun and burying the creature in bullets. Heavy weapon or no, however, the creature seemed all but impervious to it. And there was no heavier weapon than the one the creature was about to use.
Pulsating with light, the orb at its center unleashed a hellish storm of energy. When the blinding light faded, the bodies of both Anthony Higgs and Adam Malkovich had been completely obliterated.
The creature’s limbs disappeared and the orb floated away.

Wow...I just noticed that two heroes were killed tonight.
Also, I also have a hunch that Gorea is in his own faction, much like ATPG was,
since I seriously doubt he would join Samus. But this is just based off the info from the metroid wiki,
so who knows if Chaotix changed Gorea's attitude.
Although him being another member of the phazon group is another possibility, but I doubt that as well.
Why would an ancient entity capable of wiping out an entire civilization join with dark Samus' forces?
Doesn't make sense to me.
But hey, 'tis all speculation. (I sound so fancy!)
Also, if Chaotix stays true to the wiki, then only samus would be able to kill gorea, as she possesses the Omega cannon.
But I might be relying too heavily on wiki info, so you can ignore this if you want.
Nasty! I am definitely not picking them in this game. But I am still going with what I have and choosing Skooma, Csargo, Beefy and classical_hero. I don't see much reason to suspect our newly-returned players yet based on those who were previously playing them.
Skooma is my top pick.

I am very certain that Ironside is the corrupted marine. I tried to get him roleblocked yesterday night, but it turned out that he was immune to role blocking.
Meanwhile Yaropolk lied to me.
Yeah, there has to be mafia tracks all over the Tincow, Renata, ATPG, and Jarema lynches as well as some juciy info in the Winston vs Beskar thing. I fully believe that the list of suspects could be narrowed to just a few players by rereading these parts.

I'm not sure that the mafia can simply recruit freely without risking exposure. Otherwise Renata would've tried. So I don't think they would risk recruiting anyone without scanning them first.

Blackadder sounded that he didn't vote on Tincow, after Tincow admitted to be mafia and with that backfire mechanism it's really better to pile up on someone. However, while I welcome the death of Bowser Corruption, I fear the Samus will just use that opportunity to corrupt yet ANOTHER marine, which is bad. Yet, as we all know, Ironside cannot be roleblocked. That is partly the reason why I am voting for classical hero, yet not doing anything to stop Ironside's lynch.

I dislike Skooma still, maybe it is just his style of play but I think he needs to die as Sasaki would say.
Next is definitely classical_hero, Csargo then maybe landlubber, ByzantineKnight or dcmort. One of those three is likely a mafioso, the other two are just very unhelpful, scummy townies.
Should there be another tie again, because that can easily be done.

Clearly this bodes suspicious for Ironside. However, can anyone with both an ability and a defense confirm whether both can be used in one night? Multiple people posted they got new powers tonight...i did as well, which makes me think that vanilla townies don't get powers randomly but rather all at once. This means vanilla townies did NOT have defenses or abilities when Ironside was able to defend.
What's the case on Skooma? Is it just his lurkiness? I think the case on Classical Hero is much stronger than skooma. God emperor was an investigator (Roll Casket in the writeup). Last night he investigated Classical Hero according to landlubber. In the writeup we see him walking into Samus's room and spying on her, then samus turns around and kills him.
I would like to see a tie between Ironside and CH, or at least a lynch of CH - as I believe one is Samus and the other the corrupted marine.
By the way does anyone know who Romanic targetted on night 5 when he got killed by the target of his actions? Looks like he was out investigating as well.

About creating a tie between CH and Ironside... I'm not convinced about classical_hero yet, but we really do not want to open a door for the mafia to place a last minute vote. Note that at the moment, Ironside is voting for Skooma, so if we created a 5-5 tie, Ironside could switch at 00:29 EST and save himself. What a blow that would be to us if CH is Town.
I say, let's not get greedy. Ironside is a great lynch, we'll figure the rest tomorrow, we're still 19 players left.

Why is Csargo voting for himself?
First off, I think for now the town should focus on trying to find original mafia members, as they will left a lot more evidence inthread than recruited ones. We can get the recruited ones later. Following this logic, the following ignores the recruit possibility.
So I've started going through the thread and taking notes on all the living players and this is what I noticed about Classical on day 1.

-Renata votes Classical hero (Day 1- 1st)
-Beskar votes Classical Hero (Day 1 -2nd)
-Beskar unvotes while Classical Hero was tied (Day 1) changes vote to someone who was not in the lead, but was close
I'd say Renata placing the first vote on him day 1 doesn't say all that much. Perhaps it makes him slightly less likely to be on the Phazon team, but a day 1 first vote on a mafia partner usually isn't that dangerous. Beskar however, places the second vote on Classical Hero, while at the time the leading candidate had like three or four votes. Normally I would say right here that this would prove Classical Hero can't be Samus, as it is an extremely risky move to put a second vote on their partner. However, Beskar was playing pretty risky this game, and he did unvote Classical later on in the round, but it is important to note that he switched his vote to someone not already ahead of Classical. It would have been much more telling if that had been the case. The fact that Renata never unvoted while Classical was near the lead reduces his chances of being Phazon. Later on Classical joins the Tincow wagon so I think there is very little chance he is actually Phazon.
So in conclusion, simply based on the above info, I find it unlikely Classical is Samus, but still possible. I find it very unlikely that he is Phazon.
Should I go for a nonsense vote to avoid the mafia from causing a possible bandwagon?
