I find using archers can sometimes get them to move, set your archers on the bridge and fire at them withdrawing as soon as the enemy comes at you. Sometimes you have to run back and forward a lot but it usually works in the end.

Well, I won my first Heroic Victory. Battle Reports will be posted tomorrow I guess.
ueee, cool
my character seems very unfortunate again, he has stumbled into another group of brigands :furious3: somewhere in kappadokia, it might take a while again, or I 'll just take the save later once I-K allows me to use a garrison (again).
edit: perhaps I shall just fight the battle and return the unit immediately afterwards (since the pantodapoi I used still has enough movement points to make it back to Mazaka)
how many enemies are there? you can do a lot with your somatophylakes alone
his father must have been quite a character to give his son that name 0.0
maybe it was the pre-incarnation of Nostrosdamas hahaha
When I took the save I also took a peek into the general traits... he also believes he's divine lol
Amazing never saw such a character.
hehe, i am looking forward to future council sessions. A Strategos believing himself to be devine, this should create some extremely funny conversations. :laugh4:
there already is. read the stories thread . early ones.
well then 2 gods in the session make it even more interesting
heh true say.it seems he knows his place in the council tho.
Lol, this is the last campaign I ever take part!!!!
They attacked me AGAIN after the first battle!! :wall:
Looks like he is some sort of Ptolemaioi Armies magnet!:laugh4:
Those were nice days when Antiochos sat in Babylon and let other people do the fighting.:beam:
There is a small problem. I got CTD after those battles. I sent TCV a PM and let's see what will happen.
I hope that this is the first and the last CTD we have in this game.
Today I had to give up my AAR because of a CTD and I don't want to lose this game because of a CTD(though I think this is not that serious).
It didn't CTD for me, so as soon as my report is finished the new save will be up.
- Has been taken care of -
I think I have to do that if he don't come back soon. So, anyone interested??:clown:
Two words: JohnHoughtom & Merlinus. ~;)Quote:

ahh TCV you didn't give us 24 hours to take the save....
True. But I need someone who is close to it at this moment. I think Nikarchos was serving Sarpedon at the moment and he is too far away to take command over the Parthian Army.
Yes, 24hours must be given. It's the minimum time for one turn.
Gah, Then I'll remove the save and take it tomorrow instead, and redo everything. Sorry guys. :shame:
No no!!
Next time when you take the save just make sure it's been 24 hours. You don't have to redo your things this time!
EDIT: Darn, you already did it.
Bloody hell! Too late, and I'll have re-write the report. Sigh. Perhaps that'll teach me not to take the save too early, though, so I guess I earned it. :sweatdrop:
Although it's good that the game progresses without any long delays you don't have to hurry so much with taking the save back. ~:)
