Oh, and Luxembourg was a few years ago (relatively) strong in Football matters, but now, we are ... ehm, promoting the "Olympic Spirit" (or idea). <orders a drink and remembers again past times, then sees Dayve searching for cigarettes>
'Ere, lad, take one these!
I was only kidding about Luxembourg pal.
Scotland have always been rubbish. Although, now they're pretty good.
No offence taken, as our football team is even for/to/in (?) our own standards awfully bad for the last 2-3 years.Quote:

Apologies Treverer. I was only going back to the 80s and 90s.
Not needed, how could you know how old I am (after I turned off the display of my age). I was born in 1970.Quote:

@ blank: Didn't our football heroes once win against either one of the tree Baltic national teams, well, ... uhm, back in the glourious days around 2000 A.D.?
<grumbles something about paying more attention to football matters>
EDIT: not be misunderstood: it's me/I who should watch more often football on tv.
Not well, I am suffering from some chronic CTDs at the minute. I foolishly changed a name in decr_names and now I get a crash every couple of turns. So until I either re-install (a prospect I am not relishing) or figure out how to stop it from CTD-ing, all campaigns are on hold.Quote:

Hopefully I will have this problem licked soon, and I can get back to my AAR, or even start it.
I may have to go cap in hand to Bovi, he seems the man in the know.
@ horst nordfink:
Do you have tried to delete the "map.rwm"? Deleting it solves many problems most of the time? There are more than one "map.rwm" though. I, for safety, delete all of them. Last time I had a problem with repeating CTDs, it helped.
T.
I completely forgot to do that! :wall:
I will delete them all when I get home and see if it makes any difference.
Cheers Treverer!:beam:
Good to help you, and even better if it might be the problem!!Quote:

Try the "search" tool of windows. ~;)Quote:

Sorted. I'm criminally naive about computers. I will finish messing about on the web and try it later after the missus has finished spending money.
look at the sticky !! see my previous post!Quote:

Time to go ask Bovi.
If all you did was change descr_names, then just extract that file from your installer using 7zip and copy over the old modified ,one with the new, clean one.
I don't have my installer on my computer anymore, I deleted it to save space.
School boy error!
Hey,
Bootsuiv you are great, I love seinfeld too!
They all had funny hair, afros and mullets galore :beatnik:Quote:

Luxembourg have an easy group. Should romp to victory in that group Treverer :laugh4:
Well, I second you, of course I do.Quote:

- 'Cause Israel is is the first world wide target of computer-game-based-war: The attackers are known by the codewords "Gray Death" and "Yellow Death".
- Switzerland declares the State of War/Emergency (or however it is called), as there are some Italian fans from Rome trying to transit the country: Every MAN (the footballers are enroled too, as this is the not the female EU-championship) is called to arms against those invaders.
- Reports from our spies, eh ... from TV-news say that Moldavia is invaded by Romania and/or some Kossaks from the Steppes. Apparently a large group of Overseas Greeks (not from the U.S., nay, from the northern Turkish coast !!) rush to their defences but arrive too late: the football team was among those being enslaved and thous deported.
- Latvia ... ehm ... Latvia ... well, seeing that are they are the only other team in the group, they take up the challenge to defeat Luxembourg. But, oh yes! but they are defeated thanks to the 2 HealthPockets of our Frensh supermedic (but there was an ugly scene at the beginning of the match, as he uses to wear no clothes, until one of developpers, ... ehm, nomenclatura of the FIFA just gave him a little somewhat to cover his <bleep>) and to the Lusotannan Mercenary football players that the Luxembourgian team coach/manager was able to hire.
Though L. has no level 2 mine (BUT I WILL WRITE TO THE UN AND DEMAND ONE FOR US L.), though our budget's still in balance, and though our mnai- ... eh, euro-reserves are high, this incredible intelligent-risk-take was made possible by having tohe brilliant idea to sell/demolish ALL the EU-buildings and banks in Luxembourg-City, giving us a so reallly, really truly amazing sum of mn...EURO to hire these Merc-foots.
Hence Luxembourg will be the winner of that group, or as we say: "Daat waer domat bewissen!" If, oho! if you have facts coming to another conclusion, do not forget to name your sources. Any response without the propper sources/citations or written in a strong language will be taken into consideration.
... oh, and the best screenshoots ... scenes of the match will be published in the documentation "The Mouse that Squeaked - a Luxembourgian Football Match AAR".
Yours,
Treverer

Thanks for your help with my drunken editing Sassem, unfortunately I seem to have knackered it up installing some other fixes and mods.
Currently downloading EB 1.0 again.
Well, after passing a wonderful day with my parents on the birthday party of my uncle, I came back home and wanted to get some further information about a socalled "hot" topic on domestic policy. After finding some interested links, I noticed that I lacked the concentration to go into depth and end my day with a visit on the forum.Quote:

I'd really like an AAR about football.
And I still like cheese.
I donn't think that he was disagreeing with what you said so much, he was just joking. I found it quite amusing.Quote:
