Yes they can be made. There is a models_units folder, there is a models_strat folder. There is a descr_model_battle.txt file, there is a descr_model_strat.txt file.

Now I am modelling 2 units for Your mod: Aztec & Incas Warrior.
I will finished them after 18 march 2007, because first I must finished hellenistic general (Ancient Wars), Iberian Units (Punic Total War) and Herodian Guardsman (77 BC mod).

sorry for my modding ignorance, but what are 2D units? Unit cards?

2d units are sprites. When the camera gets to a certain distance, the 3d models change to 2d sprites to slow down the work load and lag. Unit cars are the little picture on the gui saying what unit it is.

Thats good news. But, hmmm will you do the diaguita or the mapuche King? I thought i could start with the Aztecs, and we really need another civ. And i believe it could be better to have one modeller cover the whole civ because this way we ensure some uniformity to the models of each civ

I agree. You do the Aztec now, and we will get someone else if we can to do the Others.

that doesnt mean of course i wont do the mapuche after i finished the Aztecs. I will model everything, even if i am alone in this (thats called dedication to a task given)

Right now we have a working closed beta, we will be coming out with the open beta Flower Wars, focusing on the Aztecs (i'm not completely clear on how that happened, i was moving...), in a couple months (this is an estimate) but the Incas will not be out for a bit longer :(

I like Incas too, they kick aztec butt :D :2thumbsup:
