So, if I am reading this right, we would only ever get 10,000 ducats, and then half is deducted for "maintenaince", leaving only 5000 to do stuff?

There has to be a way to boost the income, 5000 is not a lot to work with for a duke, let alone for a count.

Well it does say you can reduce it, but it is still pretty high.
