EB MP tornament and general dicussion

This is not really an answer to my questions.

This is a question not a statement. How are we suppose to understand it?

Maps, there is a list but again no rules how do we choose maps.
Since we play 2 battles each does each of the players choose one map from the list?

There is no Hamachi network with this name "EB tornament Europe".
There is also no with "EB tournament Europe".

Its all really confusing.

there should be a server called EB tornament Europe I'll try and get someone else to try and join it

k guess the rules are confusing I'll try and word them better

and yes you get 2 battles with someone with them chosing the map and money you will play with first and then you chose them for the secound battle

and so on with all the other players

ok the first EB tornament didn't work so I've created another with the same password and everything try it again wert got on

and I've also reword the horse archer rulle see if you get this

me as the first winner :beam: the guals smashed though the middle of the british line but there flanks held them and and the british choirts came smashed though the galic lines and mass rout followed

the 2 armys cavarly get around the side of each other army with nice manovering the eiropes counter the romans cav and charge the back of the roman line but with little effected

with the romans massed on one flank of the eiropes side the flank collapes partly, the epoirs send there other flank troops to help the weakened flank but to little avale

I have played King Hannibal and Lord Bula so far.

Versus King Hannibal one win and one loss, both clear. It's 3 for me, 3 for King Hannibal.

Versus Lord Bula 2-0, both wins for me clear so I got 3 points.

I guess I have 6 points from these two games, and 3 from the games vs King Hannibal so I got 9 point in total.

Glad to know you guys had fun playing some MP games vs. each other. I was on Xfire from about 5pm to 10 pm and nobody arrived to let me know they were ready to play a couple matches.

Maybe things came up with my fellow players from the USA. :cool:

Join "EB tournament American" channel on Hamachi - pass: EB MP and ask the guys there for games. Also read the rules posted here on page 2 I think by King Hannibal. GL!

power 2the 1 you missed 2 violent and close run battles: me vs Uriel (Hamachi Ren@). he won a clear victory every time (it was dan close though)

Today I played against Kallinikospalaestinos and Gaius (he is not in the torney, and I don't know if he wants to be).

Well I beat Gaius, and Kall...

However, I forgot to take pics and Kall was really tired. Anywho... I'll take a nap and I MAY play later in a few hours. OR I will play late in the evening.

ok firstly I screwed up big time and no body told me so sorry on my apart :sweatdrop: for not putting it in the rules about different era units and the legionaire aquilia for rome but it's beening expolted by lordbula and general burakuku :inquisitive: :shame:

also I think it the rome early units that are overpowered the camilian and polybains as there units are so cheap and high stat than legionaire that dosen't make sense :dizzy2:

any I though this was going to crash and burn but glad to see it hasn't

Its already been discussed in another thread about why Polybian and Camilians are so cheap yet so strong. Its a historical reason. During the Republican years it was easy to call up large numbers of men to battle. Since there was a census of the population, men would equip themselves, etc.

Just look at how many armies and men Rome threw at Hannibal.

Also, if you look at Hoplites, they are also very cheap.

yeah but I know they should be cheap but then again so should many units and it is a game after all where if you overpower one side the game turn into a how get's rome first kind of thing which normal put people off

I never mixed up units from different eras while I played Romani. Both times I was Polybian. What do you mean by "expolted"... do you mean "exploited"?

P.S. About the Romani. I propose this:

People host one at a time. One game each. So I say the host can choose tha map, money and the faction they play. Then, in the second game, the other player has the 1st option too. Right? So basicly you have at least one chance to play romani if you want to take this advantage, if you consider it to be an advantage.

If the cost is THAT different, (I haven't played with the Romani yet, I am however happy that the cost of Aedui Neitos is down $350). Then take pictures and post a separete thread about it with your consern for the EB team to look at.

Besides I got a couple of issues of my own I would like Bovi and company to look at. Namely, the super low cost of British Druids (the light blue ones), and the reason why the Uirodusios (wanna-be-Gaesatae) are a hero type unit, that is, they have an eagle.

I can vouch that I saw Burakuku use dunaminica...they sshould be banned.:laugh4:

ok sorry first of all to general burakuku you did use a general unit from a different era but I can sort have see how you might of click on it instead of the normal general sorry I think you made a mistake

but it still lays with lordbula with that you should have said about the eras and units rather than exploit them anyway not trying to get at you to much still good GG's :2thumbsup:

My PC has a hard time handeling this HUGE size for some reason, my frame rate was kinda slow, but thankfully and its wasn't too bad and I was able to control my army dencently.

king hannibal what do you mean by exploiting.

I may not be big fan of your rules ( I think they are much to lenient ) but I do obey them.
