Turn 18
Merlox (Ghorids) vs Chaotix27 (Georgia)
Strategy: Slowly stopping expansion, turning into a turtle at this rate.

-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Hmph. If you killed my diplomat, you're probably the one who assassinated my merchants.
By the way, your turn 19 says 18 on it.

Oh but this looks like Jolly good fun.
Remember, spies help defend cities from sudden invasion... forts too.... combine them... Delay the attacker and attack on your own terms.
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
What's going on, Merlox, it's been like 3 days! It is your turn you know. I'm pretty sure I sent you the save, but if I didn't somehow, I won't know unless you post or email to tell me...

Turn 22
Merlox (Ghorids) vs Chaotix27 (Georgia)

Diplomacy: Trade with Maraku? Offered the Georgians to be a vassel kingdom for the great ghorid Empire. the Sejuk and I both agreed on to attack the greater threat out of us... The georgians.
Military: Declared War onto the georgians. My one army did surpisingly well, took ou well over 1500 of his toops scattered in a town, a castle, and two forts. only lost 200. My mobile siege weapon is now in effect. Spies stop nothing when there are big rocks being flung! 6 other armies are 2/3rds way there from the east conquest. my 7th is just about to enter his lands, and my 8th peasent army was the one that killed off his front line.

Well it looks like the Seljuk stacks have taken a liking to your newly conquered cities. I've been trying to get a ceasefire, and I probably will next turn. However there probably won't be a Seljuk nation next turn.... anyway, I see your stack, and I think I can take it.

Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Turn 23
Merlox (Ghorids) vs Chaotix27 (Georgia)
Strategy: Busting throguh the weak defence
Current Priority: Pinning down the georgians into surrendering
Diplomacy: Nothing.
Military: Army # 2 and 3 has entered georgian territory, One's target was sieging my castle, the other went for one of his large towns, and took it out, The remains of army #1 snuck around his big mean fort by a river upstream, with the proper equipment we took out the Ganja town, and i believe a big stack of georgian baddies are in my territory in a fort right now, My assassin found a georgian spy, and was removed rather quickly at a 95% chance. Army 4 has taken out the Seljuk capital, Army 5 is right behind Army 4, Army 5 is coming along the black sea as we speak, and Army 6 and Royal Army #7 is almost to the black sea. Diplomacy: heh.. not much
Military: I moved my stack out of the fort. where it is now, your spies will have to tell you.

Damn, I'm getting hammered! I'm preparing as much resistance as I can, and I'll fight to the last man. If your horde is as peasant-filled as you've let on, I might just stand a chance.
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
I just went around your defences again, I took a small castle and your capital... you're 2 armies are now cut off from supply.
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Hi,
how does your hotseat work?.I mean are there only 2 factions who plays against each other?
Also there were many duels in throne room but i saw that there were many players not 2.So how does this duels work?
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Hotseat duels are very simple, two people play in a fight to the death, All CPUS are VH/VH, your main objective is to have the other player surrender to you, or take over his empire. These games are extremely fast compaired to major Hotseat games.
And for Chaox, The armies that are attacking you at the moment are mostly peasent / mercinary armies. My 1 Real army (The royal army) Is on the way, and also 3 of my eastern front mercinary armies are coming, /hindu longbow men, horse archers, elephants. the good stuffs. Also, I think 1 full stack of horse archers from your formor allie's lands Kwasan shah are coming your way as well. Fun isn't it? :D
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Gah! you just bypassed my other towns and took my only castles...... You know, in Vanilla or other mods, you wouldn't be able to do that- it's all cause of the raised movement points.... grrrrr.
Turn 25
Merlox (Ghorids) vs Chaotix27 (Georgia)
Strategy: Preparing for my doom
Current Priority: defending from the Ghorde
Diplomacy: heh.. not much
Military: Graaah! Besieging my capital with a beefed of stack of 20 units!
Building: nothing.
Recruitment: I can't, I have no castles!
Money: 800
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Not really, I could do it just the same, the thing is what i'm doing, i have a general with like +50% movement points, and i send him ALONE to another very weak city, and get some mercinaries, and take it over. :o
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Turn 25
Merlox (Ghorids) vs Chaotix27 (Georgia)
Strategy: Busting throguh the weak defence
Current Priority: Pinning down the georgians into surrendering
Diplomacy: Offered the Georgians again, for the last time, The chance of surrendering.
Military: i sent 3 armies, to defend his capital, and i won, with 3/4ths of my men dead, damn peasents. (Also it was a bridge map) I captured 4 of his cities. Ani being just too far out of reach, i sent 4 of my generals against 600 men, i managed to pull a victory with no general deaths. Attack lead by the sultan himself.
Diplomacy: Offered the Georgians again, for the last time, The chance of becoming a vassel. I have offered them back there lands + some of the defeated seljuk lands, My map information, 25,000 for repairs and rebuild. You only have a faction heir, and a faction leader, No family members. The forces left over can not even make half of a stack. My Royal + Eastern armies are at your old borders. My empire being too large, Alot of towns are revolting against Me. You have two towns left as it is, And if you refuse this generous offer, you will be wiped off the face of the earth with most of your armies have been. If you agree to this, All royal armies of the great sultan will use your land to sweep down into bahgdad, and take it over, claiming himself the Leader of All Islam. The Sultan has given you enough materials to become the greatest power of the west. Though, You will only have to bow down to one. The Ghorid Empire. The choice is yours.
(I sent you the game as well, your turn)
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Turn 26
The Great King of Georgia has thought long and hard over your offer. Indeed, he could be the ruler of half the world, with the fortunes you have offered him. But one simple fact remains- Georgia will submit willingly to no one, and her king will not bend his knee to any other man, least of all a dirty, uncultured, barbaric, infidel Muslim! Rather, the King and his last remaining heir will raid and pillage your empire, the same that you have done to our nation, until their valiant deaths.
(If I accepted your offer and then managed to win later in the duel, it would all be because of your offer. I will not accept any handouts, because then I cannot win the duel fairly! It was a fun game that I enjoyed, and if we meet in a war in your new hotseat, I will not be the same pushover I was this time. I am now familiarized with the BC mod and a better player in general, I think, due to this game.)
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Well, i'm free, just defeated Chaox in a duel, any body else?
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
You might just want to ask at your BC3 thread, Merlox- if they're playing one hotseat, they can probably do another.
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Hey, I'll play you in the SS mod? apparently it's pretty nasty
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=159996
Yeah, its a huge download though, but.. it would proll be pretty awesome.
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
Oh, do you have SS already? I recently dl-ed SS 6.1, so I'll play another duel with you if you want. I like SS better than BC- the west is more interesting to me than the east, IMO. That and I can actually win effectively with European armies.
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
I'm still downloading it, When i'm done, i'll be happy enough to duel you, at the moment, i am downloading 200 mbs a day. I am very interested in playing it. Also, could you imagin a hotseat game in later era? 28 factions? lol
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
I think that you can only play as 24 factions max. in a hotseat. Not sure why, but the last 4 factions don't show up in the built-in hotseat mode. I guess you could try using the hotseat=true text in the cfg folder to make normal games hotseats. Then it might work. And there's also the "control Faction" cheat in the console, but I'm not sure that'll carry over when you have to upload files....
Also, I made a discovery. In my game, at least, when I tried to control the Mongols with control Faction, after I had only 1 faction being controlled, the next time I reloaded my game was no longer a hotseat. o.o
And 200 mb a day?? Wow, I feel bad for you. Mine took 8 hours to dl and I thought that was slow.
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
it says i can download it in 3 hours, but the thing is, My bandwith limit is 400 mbs a day. and downloading 300 mbs makes my computer sucky. =(
-
Re: BC mod Hotseat Duels.
merlox, if u want a hotseat of ss 6.1 (if its downloaded then ill do one with ya, preferably with msn (windows live messenger) as u said its easier and im used 2 using it
