Can you see Antarctica from there?
If I remember correctly, Thule is near Greenland (or even a part of it), so it's not Antartica, but Artica (North Pole). And furthermore, I don't think that he lives there...
It was a mythical name used in the past to describe various islands in the north atlantic throught history, part of greenland is named after it aswell. Certainly nowhere near the antartic.
I see somebody in Czech rep. or Slovakia or Poland (can't tell exactly), wondering who is it.

Wikipedia only had 1 Thule Island listed.
Think he just got confused by my response. foot lives in Brighton so he's not that far away.
@antisocialmonkey my mistake, if you type in Thule into wikipedia you gat a different answer, no doubt thule island got its name form the mythical one though.
It also came up as a town in Greenland. @acin - must be interesting living on a remote island[/OT].
Polar bears ?
I imagine the inhumanly harsh winters feel like a relief, what with all the midges one has to endure in the summer. You don't win with arctic conditions.
Wrong Pole. 9_9
Do people who live down there travel to the mainland much? Also, what's there to eat down there? :)
Must be quite lonley living on Thule Island.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I live near the volcanic crater, where it is less cold and the water never freezes.
When I need supplies I get in my boat (no I am not a crazy hermit) and travel to the biggest settlement in the South Sandwich Islands, Grytviken.
EDIT: I also eat the most delicious seafood you will ever have if I take the time to catch them.
When was the last time anyone checked it out? Back in the 80's when the British had to come and wreck all the Argentinian buildings?
I once visited his place. Nice and cozy. Awful lot of trolls though.
What? That isn't racist, it's true! True I say!
Do you guys need to turn every thread into off-topic penis fencing? Seriously, it's old. And it's the same people. Knock it off.
The more and more I think about it, the more I want the title of this thread to change to: How is EB formed?
So many people from different parts. I am suprised that everyone has such good english. I feel kinda bad now that I can't speak any other language like german or portuguese or even american with your damn weird spellings and pronunciations.
As a side note, is there a list or anything of who the EB members actually are? Everyone seems to know but I can't follow or find a list anywhere.
EDIT: Oh, and a list of their jobs/roles within the team would be great, if anyone feels obliged?
It's probably easier for us to learn English because so many films, music and books are in English. I mean: you probably have not seen, or read 'Oorlogswinter' but I have seen and read 'Animal Farm' (weak comparison I know, but you get the point). We grow up in a world were English plays a big part.
Woohoo! bring on the world language! (that is untill everone switches to chinese)
That's a question better suited to Yahoo Answers, I think.Quote:

And who's the New Yorker on the team?
