Just placing pressure on you, probably not my final vote, I'd like for you to talk more about why you think Beskar is mafia when he was only acting to save his own life in the first round, something many townies would do.

I like the way you start your post by basically saying 'I'm a townie' Which usually means 'I'm not a townie'
Now then...lets look to your rule book, maybe you don't 'officially' qualify as a bandwagonner but you followed the persons vote in front of you mindlessly, that is bandwagonning behavior at the very least. Whether your little rule book says second or third to vote for someone makes it a bandwagon or not, your doing everything a bandwagoner would do, so stop playing fairly pointless games with what is and isn't a mafia game rule.
You vote for the same person the first person voted for about an hour after they vote. Which is piling the pressure, most townies spread there votes out, but by mounting his votes up you seriously increased athelotes chance of being lynched on no other logic than 'hes always mafia'. Using data from other games is poor logic and can result in a player losing interest in this game, if that is the only basis you vote for someone. Your vote was based on personal experience and our own silly grudges when it should have been a fresh slate! :whip:
I haven't been over protective of atheotes, you have been over-offensive to him, which is why I am defending him at all. This scummy mc sscummy comment is laughable, seeing as you have nothing on me other than defending a player that your harassing, you have nothing on me and no true reasons to believe I'm scummy, which is surely still an attempt on your part to detract attention from yourself. Maybe were both townies? either way going around saying whos who, when you blatantly have no clue, is ignorant in itself.
@Split: Townies aren't supposed to be afraid to die, Beskar didn't even bother to comment or say why he was voting centurion, but seemed more in a rush to vote for someone else before he got a majority vote himself. Perhaps, in his situation I may have protected myself over others if I know I'm innocent, but he didn't even seem bothered and was quick to place all the blame onto me & Athelotes, even though it was he that killed the townie, quite bluntly.
There isn't much else to say and whilst there isn't much evidence to go on in this game, I certainly don't see why I'm such a big suspect in comparison to Beskar, given that mostly everyone said they were going to vote for him this round anyway after his actions the day before. Furthermore, why beskar & me anyway? Why apply pressure just to us? No one is ruled out yet & so I fail why anyone else should feel there in a safer position just because they lurk most of the time.
As you can see I am putting effort into this game, if you wish to vote me out then fine, but I can't of tried harder to convince you of my actions. Furthermore whether you vote me out someone else or Athelotes it doesn't bother me an awful lot, go ahead and lynch atholates or me if you want to, that is no bluff because I am not his mafia partner and if you want to lynch we to prove that, then I am willing to die for you. Though I doubt Beskar is.
When I come on tomorrow I'll see how you respond, if it is still roughfully a draw, I will vote for myself as I will have failed to convince you who is the best lynch candidate
oh round ends soon, maybe not...

No, they're not supposed to be afraid to die, but isn't it nature of a man who is convinced of his own innocence that he think it better to select another who may be guilty? In Beskar's eyes he probably made a good choice, and in many games I'm sure others would've made the same choice, right or wrong results.
I just elected to put pressure on you to get this post out of you, a good townie post with good analysis and commentary, which is not just rehashing of previous posts or ideas. Unvote: Thermal Mercury, I have no reason to suspect you as of yet, perhaps others need rousing however.

Want to let you into a secret? I am too high profile to be a Mafia.
I am not Pizzaguy yet, you know.
Also, as Split says can be summed up like this. "I know I am innocent, I don't know if you are innocent or not. Stay here while the Mafia kills a known innocent (me), when a potentional mafia suspect could die."
It is the secret unwritten rule for Townies. A good townie will stay alive, as they are an innocent. Only time a townie should die is to take down a Mafia or to save a pro-town.
(Cue: Koopa, where I matyr'd myself to take down a Mafia)

While such a rule is generally true, or advisably, self preservation doesn't always paint it's users in the best light, town nor mafia...

I understand what your saying but that tactic isn't just useful for townies, all sane mafias do it too.
And how do you mean too high profile to be mafia? beefy assured us all roles other than mafia were ordinary anyway.

If playing professionally isn't characteristic to your normal townie behavior, then it would be suspicious. Basically your saying 'If I'm mafia I'd not talk so much' Am I right? If so your basically saying If I'm mafia I will act like mafia. And there is such a thing as reverse psychology Beskar, I'm sure its not beyond you to use it.

The proper thing to do as a townie is to save oneself.
Don't hesitate.
Remember, there are no special roles. You will either hit another townie (net loss: zero) or a mafia (net gain)

now that i think about it.... having no special roles mean we have to root out mafia based off their posts and activity. Beskar going on and on about me will just serve as a distraction for the town. so it may not be the best idea to save myself. But i am the only innocent i know and Sprig is a potential mafia in my eyes. so i guess that is the right thing to do. now i sit back and hope Sprig is mafia.

Day 2 summery
"I know it was you" said the Queen, staring at the human figure approaching her. "Private Sprig.. Or who ever you are acting like Private Sprig.. You seem to be a proud man, approaching in front of me in human form."
Sprig... or whomever he is trembled in fear.
"Its me your majesty! Your Sprig! I am indeed one of your soldier! Believe me!"
"Then what is that identity you are wearing!? It looks like one of the Americans, its ugly and... its ugly."
"This... Your majesty. Is Scott Seabol! He used to be a popular player of Hiroshima Carps! Local baseball team."
"Enough excuses! You either jump in my mouth, or I will force you in my mouth!"
So Scott Seabol, braking up in tears jumped in the Queens mouth. After a two, three scream of agony Sprig was no more.
"Yum.. So he really was one of us after all.. Ah well. Umm... YOU YAKUZAS! How dare you kill one of my man in front of me!! We will never forget your loyality Sprig! We shall avenge your death!!"
While the Queen desperately attempted to hide the fact that she was the one who killed Sprig, Two Yakuzas hiding amongst the group smirked as another alien was out of the way, making it easier for them to take the Queens head.

Firstly… You got sacked. It’s a real shame as Sensei was one of my favourite members of the Carps.
Despite the awful awful batting average and even worse performance he shows when defending, you were well loved by people of Hiroshima. Perhaps that’s because name Seabol sounds like C坊 meaning Carp boy, a mascot of the Carps. Or perhaps because your name Seabol resembles Seabolt, a famous philosopher or something in who knows where, thus being called Sensei or perhaps because he sometimes smashed a homerun when the fans were dying for it. Anyway, Scott Seabol.. You will be missed.
Love for you as somewhat disappeared in 2009 season for you were even worse then 2008, but none the less, people of Hiroshima are used to losing and don’t care as long as you’re cute. You were cute Sensei. The facial expression you show when you scored a yet another error and the poker face you show after the homerun made your smiling face after the victory against Hanshin Tigers even more sweet.
You may not be quite loved by the Queen as you are definitely not cute from none Hiroshima citizens, but you can definitely pursuit the secondly objective which is to investigate the culture of this city and to find the Yakuzas hiding amongst the group.
