Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
Count me IN again.
Also that first run was awesome and I'm honestly amazed at TM's artwork in the end, nice touch.
And we are taking a different caption for the second time, right? If we do, I don't think the first round will influence the second too much.

Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
Totally different and more complicated starting caption.
My goal is to make it impossible for the end to have anything in common with the beginning. Something easy like ice cream (was actually ice scream, btw) won't be in it.

Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
I read the original caption wrong :embarassed:

Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
We could start with 13, but I'd like to get more players. Anyone that you know of who would be interested to play?
We could also invite new people to the gameroom, who haven't been recruited into a mafia game yet. Nice icebreaker.

Well he had a massive hole in his body so not really, I just chose to use objects from the internet instead of making my own on paint. I think more effort went into the other peoples.
I'm happy to do image or caption, I would think it alternated between the two, or is it random?

Re: Paper Telephone [EPYC] game - Always accepting signups
well we do have 17 now. I could begin very soon, and I think I will do so.
I will get things rolling as before, with a caption. I'll also post the turn order soon.

Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
Is there any way to put a photo in Paint and then draw over it?

Yes. Open the file with Paint. This is accomplished many ways.
Right-click, Open With..... Paint.
or
Open Paint, Open ---> file path where your picture is.

Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
I'll join, the EPYC games on CFC have been experiencing some severe constipation as of late.

Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
Hmm it doesn't work.
May have something to do with me using a probably unofficial Mac-version of Paint, creatively titled Paintbrush, instead.
-
Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
I hate paintbrush, it destroys the images when you try to copy it in.
Also, ATPG this looks fun, I may have to call myself in if it's not too late to be put at the end :o

Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
hmm, you would be ideal as a image person split.

No it's like, if you try to copy a picture in, it automatically crops it to the dimensions of the current canvas. In stuff like GIMP and Photoshop (What I"m used to) you can paste something into the file and move it around without cropping the edges until you set and rasterize the layer.
tl;dr paint sucks lol
-
Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
GIMP doesn't like my computer and I don't want to buy Photoshop or download the free trial.
-
Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
GIMP broke on my computer too, I think the new version of X11 is heavily bugged for OSX 10.5
Currently using "Pixelmator" its a sleek, stylish, all black version of GIMP, that doesn't require X11. It works well, and brushes and stuff are easy to install!
Sadly it's like $50 :/

You could just expand the dimensions before you paste the image...
-
Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
There's no expanding, you have to make a new image large enough to hold the other one, and then you can't resize it, because it resizes and scales the whole canvas.
It's not like MS paint at all :/
-
Re: Paper Telephone (EPYC) game
Thank goodness GIMP works fine on my computer.

Another convert to the 'apple' crowd. :shame:
Although Pixelmator is like the most shameful thing apple have produced given how practically no one has heard of it. :bounce:

TM, Macs are good for the Internet and papers (better shortcuts FTW!)
PCs are good for everything else. Like important stuff.
Of couse, I am talking of none other than Total War games.
